WELCOME TO CHRISTMAS EVE YA'LL!
Good Christmas Eve to all!
Tuesday was jam packed. Did not open my laptop once. I worked till 2 yesterday and then went and picked up my "little sister" from big brothers/sisters program. She, Alex, Sean and I went to cicis pizza then off to bowling. We came home and played the wii for a little while, then decorated a ginger bread house and sugar cookies. We ended the night with playing uno spin and opening Christmas presents.
Today I took my little sister home, went to work. Blah. Calling people on Christmas eve and asking them to pay their past due credit card just plain sucks. lol. After work I hit Food Lion and Walmart. I am now back home. I have made my 7 layer Mexican dip and meatballs for tonight. Eggs are boiling now for deviled eggs tomorrow. All the presents are wrapped. My mother in law will be here in about an hour. We plan on just relaxing, playing some games and opening gifts with her tonight.
Tomorrow will be all for Alex. Get him up and open gifts. Then I will make breakfast. Clean up from that, showers and cooking. My family comes over at noon and we do appetizers and gift exchange. After that my mother in law comes over for dinner. Makes me tired just typing this out. lol
Tammy and Kat y'all are in my prayers. Keep me in yours too. I go for my upper gi soon to make sure I have no kinks.
Merry Christmas All!

Merry Christmas to everyone!!!
Today began with stopping at my favorite spot for coffee. Left earlier that planned because someone who was talking to me, started to bring up negative things. On Christmas Eve, that is not what I wanted to hear.
Had physical therapy...can bend knee at 95*. After stopping at Giant for cat food, came home to make cookies and a jello.
Going to Mass in the morning and to a friend's house for Christmas dinner. Will also stop at the group home to see everyone.
On Tuesday, I return to work for part time. Will work parttime thru the middle of January.
Peace to all the world, tonight!

Oh sweetie! I hope you are feeling better. Being sick is NO FUN.
We have had a good day so far. We had breakfast with my parents and then went off to search for new mattresses. We purchased a nice set within our budget price point and are happy with the purchase. They will be delivered Saturday. I'm SO excited. I've been wanting new mattresses for two freaking years. It's been LONG overdue. Now we are preparing for visiting my MIL. I hope things go well. We are taking her to dinner and then back to her house to open gifts. That's usually when things go south. Pretty much if you come into her home she goes on an emotional free for all and thinks she can have one of her "episodes", public meetings go FAR better. But in the spirit of holiday season we are taking our chances and hoping for the best.
Have a great day tomorrow, I'm sending my love to you and the girls!

Tuesday was an easy day! Played hookey from school! Sent Cameron over my sisters house and I wrapped, wrapped, wrapped tons of gifts ( and didn't even finish ). Had my best friend and her daughter come over and we exchanged gifts! Finally got the red purse that I have so wanted for SO long! We had dinner and rearranged the gifts under the tree after we fixed the tree skirt, again, for the 2nd or 3rd time. Yes, I have OCD about a few things! I studied for 1 make up test and the current test that we had today and then fell fast asleep!
Sheesh! What a long day! Got up, fixed my snack for school, grabbed the gifts for my secret pal and teacher, grabbed the veggie tray for pot luck lunch at school and out the door I was by 8 am! Took the make up test as soon as I got there and then took the current test! ACED both with 100's so I was super stoked! Had a practical final (hands on type thing) for haircutting. Had to do a haircut, using any techniques that we had learned during this module, on either a live person or a mannequin! Didn't feel brave enough to cut real hair but didn't do bad, ended up with a 98 on that. Then we had pot luck lunch at school. Of course, most of it was not WLS so I picked as best I could. Came home early, and started baking. Managed to get the mac & cheese cooked, the corn pudding is prepared and ready to be cooked, boiled 22 eggs and turned them into deviled eggs, baked a cake & made homemade chocolate icing. Wrapped a few more gifts, fixed dinner and spent the night fighting the anxiousness of an 8 yr old that was glued to the computer tracking Santa! He is upstairs now, fighting sleep with ALL that he has in him and I am praying that he gives in soon. I still have loads of presents to wrap and stockings to stuff. But alas, in the morning, all the running around, hours on my feet and late nights will be oh so worth it, when I see that smile, from ear to ear and have those arms around me hugging me oh so tight.
So that was my day. Exhausting and busy but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I hope that each of you have the holiday that you want and deserve. Prayers going out for those that are in need of them and thoughts are with those that, for what ever reason are not able to have happy holiday. Stay safe and Happy Holidays!!!
