Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Good I hope. How was your weekend? Ours was mixed. Relaxing and jam packed. Did lots of cleaning and got a few Cmas things done. Chores and rested from time to time. My back/neck are still giving me fits now and then. Talked to some good friends this weekend that I've been missing and spent a lot of time with the buggas. Its weird how a couple things worked out this weekend. Blessings I see clearer this am. I'm not sure exactly what I have going on but I stirred up so much dust and did a lot of cleaning that I've either gotten bad allergy reactions or the startings of a cold which many of us seem to be having right now. Boooo!

What's on the books for your Monday? Mine will be planning, phone calls, a few errands, chores and praying. Lots going on and I'm praying for a good turn out of things. I need a top set of days that's for sure. I'm also working on some self esteem issues. How easy in many respects it is to deal with the outside and inside but not both at the same time. Work in progress. That's for sure. Please have the BEST Monday you can!

Good morning sunshine It is so good to be back in Va. I couldn't  take the snow and the bitter cold any more. Yesterday I arrived home at 4 pm and was greeted by my grandchildren . It was so good to see them. I just relaxed for the evening.
Today Monday, I have to get the girls off to school then unload my car. Go to Ballys for a workout then home again and do some serious cleaning, then tonight I am going to address my Christmas cards.
Until tomorrow keep smiling and my ray of sunshine and I will be praying for you and the girls.

Morning Beautiful!!!!  Sounds like your weekend rocked!  Mine was super crazy busy.  Friday night it was off to get the girlies, took the oldest & her boyfriend out to dinner while we waited for the youngest to finish up her school dance.  After waiting for the boyfriend to be picked up it ended up being a long night.  Got home & dealt with some grade issues.  Saturday was on the go from the time I woke up.  We did Christmas shopping, got my nephew for a sleepover, baked pies, cupcakes, did dinner, went to look at Christmas lights, did gingerbread houses and finally hit the bed.  Yesterday was go go go also.  Got up, headed to my dad's to celebrate his bday, then it was off to the mall for more shopping, then home to do laundry & settle in for another  week.  Not sure what is in stock for today.  Work of course, really wanting a quiet night at home but there is shopping to finish, errands to run, etc so we shall see.  Have a great one!  Love you much!

Good AM beautiful!  Glad you had a pretty nice weekend.  Mine was a mixed bag.  Saturday was busy...I worked (just me and Kara for a change) and thankfully Steve did almost half of the route for us.  We got home shortly after he did...it was noce to see him and Rich before they left to go hunting for a change!  Came in the house and Dad was up and watching TV...a little sad that he was not going hunting with them...so we talked for a bit and I crashed on the sofa for about three hours until I got up and went to work.  It was opening day at my new weekend job and I had a blast!  We were sort of busy but not swamped and I had a chance to really get the feel of things and make some suggesstions.  It was nice.  I worked for almost 10 hours then came home.  I promptly crached on the sofa again...no energy to climb those stairs!...and Steve woke me when he got home.  I was not happy...and just went back to sleep.  We got up at 11:30 to go back to work.  Got home about 6:30 (I think) and crashed for a bit.  I could not sleep so I got up and spent some time with my dad then grabbed a shower and went to get returns.  After that I came home and me, mom, dad and Kara went to put flowers on my grandparents and great grandparents graves.  Steve had some things that absolutely had to be done so he stayed home.  We also visited with my uncle and aunt then had a nice dinner before heading home.  We all had a really nice time and it was good to have the time with my dad.  We got home about 8:15 and Kara ran to finish some homework and study for a test while I did some laundry and cleaned up Steve's messes from the day.  I finished the billing for this morning and packed my dad's bag for the hospital today.  I helped him with a few things then crashed about 10 mysel***** up at 4 this AM and grabbed my shower to start the billing.  It has been super hectic since we are down to one vehicle.  I still need to find the money to get the van fixed and Steve's work truck is broken down so we are juggling for sure.  I went home to pick him up and he dropped me off at work.  I will then take him home after work and go and finish the billing then off to the hospital for the evening to be with my dad.  We are all caught up on laundry...for a few days anyway.  I am super stressed right now...worring about my dad...when I am going to finish my Christmas shopping...when I am going to wrap everything...when I am going to cook everything...when Kara can see Adam again (his mom grounded him for lord knows how long) and the depression issues she is having from not being able to see or talk to him...you get the picture.   I am grateful for all of the prayers and support.  They mean the world to me.  Have a fabulous day and I will e mail you shortly...gotta catch my breath!

I still have a pretty bad cold that kept me down all weekend, but am looking forward to hitting the doctors office this afternoon to get myself better, faster.

Other than that, I'm waiting on a phone call from a private installer to see what kind of deal I can get through him.  He worked with my mom a few years back and I'm still hoping I can pull a rabbit out of my hat and get my floors done this year.  If not, then I guess it just isn't meant to be right now...

In the next couple days I need to get on the horn and mail out the kids (niece and nephew) Christmas gifts.  It was something I intended to do this weekend but did not feel well enough.  Maybe tomorrow.

Other than that, I'm just working away at work, we are trying to get as much done as we can before the holiday shutdown.  I can't TELL YOU how happy I am to have some time off coming.  I really can't wait.

I hope you are feeling better today. I hope that you can get those gifts out like you want to and everything works out with the installer. Countdown to time off sounds nice! I cannot WAIT to spend Winter Break with Kayla at home!

 All of you are incredible...juggling family, holidays and your life as a wls survivor. PRayers to all of you at this time.
  On Friday I saw my orthopedic surgeon who was happy with the progress of my knee. The x-rays showed a very healthy knee with no arthritis!!!
He has cleared me to return to work, part time until mid-January andfull time beginning the week of January 11th. I am also driving and returning to a routine outside of the house. Freedom at last!
  Saturday included getting a much needed hair cut and having coffee at Starbucks. Also bought much needed supplies to bake breads for gifts.
   On Sunday I attended a Christmas band concert, which was wonderful. The concert was complete with a couple waltzing while the Nutcracker Suite was played and snow falling during "A White Christmas". What a way to celebrate the season.
    Today was busy with physical therapy. Later in the afternoon I attended a jury duty orientation. In February, 2009 I will be on the jury duty list for C'ville. I love being on jury duty...real Law and Order.
     Tomorrow, I plan to work on a return to work schedule. Need to make some calls and have the surgeon complete a form before going back.
