THANK GOODNESS IT'S FRIDAY YA'LL!
How are ya'll doing? Good I hope. How was your Thursday? Ours was wet and chaotic. Even though its been raining continuously (still this am) I managed to get several things accomplished yesterday. I hope and pray things come together even better from my efforts. Lots of phone calls, research, planning etc. Tuckered out puppy by the end of the pm.
What's on the books for your Friday & weekend? Today I have a lot on my To Do List so I'll start there once I get Kayla off to school. I need some prayers and encouragement to make the best choices/decisions about things today. Its been stormy and I'm not just talking rain here. A friend of ours is being laid to rest today so he and his family are in my thoughts and prayers. A lot of processing going on there as it has been an unbelievable situation. This has been a long week.
Things are up in the air for the weekend at this point. We are going to take my nephew to get his new board this weekend which he's stoked about and I'm suppose to be attending a lunch/get together with my sister on Saturday but I'm not sure how that is going to pan out yet. In addition, I'm struggling with storms and trying to get on a better path. As for the rest of the weekend at this point we are taking it as it comes.
Hope everyone has a GREAT Friday & weekend!

Thankful for the easy, grateful for the hard & hopeful for tomorrow.
A few things planned this weekend, got to finish up some shopping, head over to my dad's to celebrate his bday & who knows what else. Hope you have a great one! Love you much!!
Good morning, beautiful. Yesterday was a trying day for me. My nerves were/are on end and people plucking them are not making me a happy camper! I have a ton of voice mails waiting for me but honestly don't have the energy to get to them just yet. Soon...but not now. I worked till 8 last night and will be doing the same again today to make up some time from Wednesday. I am also working thru lunch. Today is our holiday luncheon at work so I will grab a plate and come back to my desk. I did manage to get some laundry done and to spend some time with my dad. We watched part of a movie before I crashed and so did he! Steve had already gone to bed.
On the books for today is much of the same. I have to work late then home to do some laundry. I need to get in the bed as early as I can because this weekend willb e a long a tiring one. I have to do the papers tonight and without Adam's help...so it will just be me and Kara. I am praying Steve will at least do the 2nd half of the route...but who knows! Then it is home to get a couple of hours of sleep and then off to my other job. Opening day is tomorrow so it should be interesting. Wish me luck! After that I am sure I will come home and crash for the Sunday papers. On Sunday I have to go and get returns and then home to pick up my dad, Kara and Steve (maybe my mom...not sure yet, depends on how she feels!) and we are going to put flowers on my grandparents and great grandparents graves. It has been a while since we all went together so this should be good. I am not looking forward to trecking across the lots after it has been raining this much...but I will survive! Once I get home I hope to finish the laundry for the week and then get my dad prepared for Monday's admittance into the hospital. Just thinking of all I need to/have to do is exhausting me! Lord...please give me strength!
I am praying for you and know that you will make the right decesions. Prayers for your friends family, too. I hope you all have a blast going to get the new board...I know he is super stoked for this! Is your dad going tomorrow? Let me know when you have time to do our project...if we don't hurry then we are going to run out of time!
Love you much!

Life could not get any better than this!
Yesterday was a pretty good day. Went to work, then a conference at Alex's school with the teacher, vice principal, principal and my husband. Alex ended up getting in another fight at school. They were wonderful to us. They gave us some resources to use, he is being put in a buddy program and we have scheduled to see a psychiatrist to see if we can regulate and get him on the correct medications and give him counseling to help with his anger. We will have another meeting next month with the guidance counselor and everyone else and see progress, what else we can do to help him. So I was happy how the meeting went.
After that we went to my moms house to visit with my aunt that flew down from Rochester New York. It was a nice visit.
Today we are heading to Williamsburg for lunch and a little shopping. I am looking forward to it. Tomorrow I think we will go to build a bear and let Alex make a batman bear. My aunt gave him a gift card there for Christmas and I would like to let her see him make it. Should be fun.
Have a good day everyone!

Happy Friday to everyone.
The skies and the air seem to be clearer following the much needed rain. Glad to get to physical therapy this morning. Had a great workout and my knee measures at 90* sitting and laying down. I am happy about that!
Soon I head to the surgeon for an eight week follow-up. He'll take x-rays and we will talk about returning to work and getting off those nasty narcotics.
This weekend will include setting up the Christmas tree and mailing off gifts. Also want to go to the mall...indoors and outdoors just to take in some Christmas energy. Lots of walking will be great for the knee, too.
Enjoy each moment of each new day!!
