In and Out

Good Morning Everyone......

First off, I wanted to thank those who have sent me many messages checking in to make sure that I was doing ok.  My surgery went off without a hitch, however, the after-effects have been a bit of a killjoy.  Yes, I am sore....yes, I am tired of the swelling....yes, I am bored without my physical activity.  But, most importantly, yes, I AM taking time to recover and relax (to a point - haha).

I know that I have been in and out these past few weeks, but all of you are on my mind each day.  I pop in to see how everyone is doing, I'm just not doing much posting these days - so please forgive me.

As I muddle through the holidays, I will be around just not posting every day as I try to do.  I have some things that I am working on for my personal sanity as I move towards the new year - what goals do I want to achieve next year in my physical fitness?  Time to take the next step in my journey and address a few things that if I do not address will completely destroy what I have worked so hard to do these past 3 years (lose my weight and be active).

Yes, it's that time in my journey to deal with the issues that got me to 265.  So, that's one of my goals this year - to finally deal with it once and for all.  It will be hard, not just on me but for everyone around me, but it's time......

I will try to keep up the Daily Inspirations for those following them.

Have a happy holiday...........

It sound like you have a good handle on what you want to address and get though this next year.  Looking back on the past year it is amazing to me how easy my journey has been and not nearly as challenging as I thought it would be for the food addict that I was.  I actually think now that I'm exiting the honeymoon period is when I'll really be tested.  I really look to all you post-op who are further out than me and SO accomplished like yourself for guidance in teh coming years.  :)
