Support group in Stafford?

Yes there is a group that usally meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7-8:30pm on Butler Rd in Falmouth at the C Ray Grizzle Building.
I haven't seen anything posted for this month.
Send me an email and I will send Jackie Thodos' email addy, who is one of the facilitator's of the group so you can contact her directly.

Yes, Sue and I run a group in Fredericksburg/Stafford and usually it would be the second Wednesday of the month but this month we have been having issues with getting the Hall - they are going under new management so when we sign our new contract for January we will make it an annual contract so they won't keep thinking that can give our room away.
So we will see everyone in January for the Post Christmas get together.
Dr Halmi does send patients down our way so we are the group he would be talking about.
We look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year...........

HI, my name is Shirley. I am lokking for a new support group & doctor. As you may have heard my Doc. office & practice in Fredericksburg are closing their doors on the 31st... I am not sure how I am handeling this whole thing. NO ONE SEEMS TO TAKE MY iNS. BUT i WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAVE MADE ARRANGEMENTS WITH A DOC. IN Northern VA. possibly Potomac Mills.. I haven't recieved the details yet because I am a liitle bitter over this whole thing.. Thanks for listening to me while I pouted... Shirley

Shirley, I am sorry for what is going on and I am sure you have every right to be bitter - you made a life changing decision and it must feel like they left you high and dry..... your new doctor is probably Dr Halmi and he is just wonderful!! He was my surgeon so let me assure you, you will be in EXCELLENT hands!! In my humble opnion - much better hands than the ones you are leaving...
Dr Halmi also has a support group held on the first Thursday of every month and everyone is welcome to go.... regardless of where they had surgery. Also he sends people to our group because as long as they attend a support group and are getting support he is happy. Our support group is the second Wednesday of the month in Fredericksburg. They will also check your insurance out for you too.........
Feel free to vent but so not despair - you have people where who will help you - the Virginia Board is a tremendous support system.... please join us!
