Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Good I hope. How was your Sun? Ours was steady. The snow didn't stick around from Sat night here but it was pretty to watch falling. Early to rise making a pot of cuppa, grabbing the paper and reading it while chatting with a friend. Later on I got into a cleaning mood which this am has been such a benefit. The buggas were really good yesterday as I needed to rest from time to time. Just feeling off not sick/bad just off. Got chores accomplished and one errand. Otherwise, watched a couple movies. I'd seen one before. Oldies but goodies rawk! Later in the pm I got the CMA's or parts that I'd missed (Country Music Awards) and then got a call I could have gone without because of the contents. Oh well.

What's on the books for your Monday? I've got several things to take care of. I'm about to get Kayla up and ready for school. Thank the Lord she is feeling better. I'm going to work on my To Do List and pray for a successful day in what ever I do. That is the same I'm praying for ya'll. Today is a new day with choices and chances. I'm starting this day off believing that its going to be a good one, that I am blessed with many people and things, that I am going to walk with my head high, that my family & friends are doing better today and that the power of prayer is working even better than I can currently see. I hope each of you has a wonderful Monday!

Morning Beautiful!  Glad to hear your weekend went well.  My weekend had it's good points and bad.  Saturday I hit the parade and then did some Christmas shopping, one of the "adopted sons" went with me.  Then it was wrapping & just hanging out.  Sunday I was up early, did a bit of cleaning then headed off to my stepsister's baby shower.  Not my favorite thing to participate in but I survived.  Then I joined hubby at a friend's for a little get together then we headed out to do the grocery shopping.  I too haven't been feeling quite right so I headed to bed early.  Was up & off to the gym this a.m. but still not feeling great.  We shall see what happens.  Perhaps I need a day of rest to fight something off.  Not too much planned today other than work & laundry this evening.  Hope you have a great one!  Love you much!!

Good morning - my weekend was a mixture of lazy and being sick - I woke with a bad throat on Friday morning and it has got worse with each passing day and last night I could not breathe to sleep - now it is a cold - I hate the cold!!!!! I can endure any surgeries but NOT the cold.....

So I did some Christmas shopping that I needed to get done on Saturday - Connor went to his dad's on Friday evening and I picked him up on Sunday morning. His previous au pair and her husband came over and topk him to see a movie which he just loved....I did not want to sit in a stuffy cinema and it was good for them to have some alone time with Connor....

So today I am just going to whine and hope my cold gets better soon lol!!

Hi Jackie :) I pray you start feeling better ASAP. Seems like many folks have been dealing with some sort of sickness lately. Bummer! Whine away and get better! Glad you got things done you wanted to on the weekend and hope you have a good day.

Sounds like we are ALL sick. I hope everyone is feeling better today. My weekend was a mixed bag as well. I went to lunch with Santa on Saturday with my son. I came home and got in the bed and stayed there until I had to go to work yesterday. After work I went with  friend to Panera for lunch(love the soup) and then off to Payless to get some sexy heels for hubby's xmas party and last stop Target. Then back home in the bed again. Not sure if I am getting a stomach bug or if its more of the same old thing.

Good AM, beautiful!  Brrr...It is freezing out this morning!  It was 21 degrees when I left the house this morning to do the billing.  Boy...did I sure miss Steve not being home yet to warm up my truck! 

I got a lot accomplished this weekend.  I worked 9 hours on Saturday then went for coffee at the mall.  Sunday was another full day...and  I amazingly got everything accomplished that I had on my list!

I got up extra early and loaded the dishwasher (again!) and started the laundry.  Was just about to leave for the returns and I got a text from a friend...she wanted to talk (vent, really) so I picked her up and she went with me and helped out a lot.  We got some good talking in and I know it did us both a lot of good.  After we finished working we went to the mall and were going to just walk around and look and get some pricing ideas...until I walked into Hot Topic!  They had the remainder of my list for Kara and Adad on sale...50% off and then I had another 15% off coupon!  I racked up and was able to get them everything on their list!  I also ran into Pac Sun and got Steve some new tee shirts and I will be taking Kara back to get Adam a couple as well.  They also had an awesome sale and I got "Pac Loot" cards to use so that is an even better deal for me!  The only person left for me to buy for is my dad and I need Steve's help to complete most of that.  I can get a few things (the basics that I ALWAYS buy him...like chocolate covered cherries I can do alone) but I need help with the major items that we have intentions to get.  Steve knows more about those things and also they will be heavy and I can not lift them.

Today is Kara's 14th birthday!  I have completed just over 1/2 of the billing and will hit the remaining 12 stops in just a little bit.  I am at work for now...but I am leaving at 10 or 10:30 so I can get things done and get dinner started.  Kara has asked me to cook her chicken and dumplings so I will.  I want to be done with work as early as possible so I can spend the rest of the day with her once she gets home from school.

I had little to no sleep lst night...layed in bed trying to sleep but it just did not want to happen so I think I will be going to bed early this evening...at least that is my plan at the moment!

Tam, please tell Kara Happy Birthday from me. Hope you get some sleep tonight. I go to work tonight which will be the first time since Wensday so we will see how that goes. I am getting better I am still tired but that will stop I hope one this med gets into my system real good. Have a nice day.
