WELCOME TO MONDAY YA'LL

Thanks Tammy! :) What a busy end to last week and this past weekend. I'm sure you'll get to the tree this week. I really enjoyed doing that with mom & the buggas. They loved decorating. We have these spiffy 3-D glasses we can put on and look at the lights on the tree and they either say a word or show pictures of snowflakes and stars. The buggas really dig looking through them. Fun for us adults too. We baked gingerbread things and decorated them as well. The buggas promptly ate them (mom & I too). Hope your Monday goes smoothly.

  Kat it is so nice to have you with us again. Love your new pic, also.
  The weekend was nice...visits with friends, window shopping and working out.
  Today marks 7 weeks out from knee surgery. I can feel the muscles getting stronger as walking is easier, movement is easier and the pain is easing up. Thought I am not driving yet and still on hefty pain meds, the hardest part is behind me.
  At noon, I head to physical therapy. The physical therapy clinic is adjacent to the gym where I am a member. Last week I was shown some of the machines that I can begin to use at the gym. This was another milestone to healing. Working out on the machines felt great.
   At home, I need to pay those nasty bills before continuing with Christmas shopping. The bills from the surgeon, hospital and anesthesiologist have arrived, which I was not happy with.
Also, need to clean up the house in preparation for holiday decorating.

Hi Cindy! Thanks for the compliment. :) I'm glad you are healing nicely. Meds are pesky so hopefully you're moving on from them smoothly. I hope you accomplish all you wish to. :)

You are backl!!!!!!!!!! Yippeee!!!!!!!!! We have missed your presence! It is so good to see you back here!

We went to New Jersey for Thanksgiving with my best friend Melissa and had a wonderful time - I needed the break way more than I realised! While I was there - true to my tradition of what can go wrong will go wrong -  I dropped my cellphone down the toilet at Melissa's on Thanksgiving morning. So I spent 3 hours on Black Friday in the Verizon Store getting a new phone  ........

We decided to come back early on Saturday morning and I was awake early so we left at 4am and I was home by 9am with Connor sleeping almost all the way home.... but he was still tired so while he napped in the pm I went down to the basement - a job I had skillfully ignored since we unpacked  - and flattened all of the boxes, swept the floor - laid a huge rug out and put all his toys into bins around it for him to pay with..... he was so delighted because he hadn't seen these cars since we moved.....

Then, when he was fully awake we went out to Target to buy a white christmas tree - because that was what kind of tree he wanted....... and some more shopping. Then on Sunday we lazed around then went back out to buy the decorations for the tree - and I managed to get a Wii too - they had only come in one hour before so I was really happy - not the Wii Fit program though as they did not have that - but I still want that -  and then we had dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise... so a  realyl nice day had by all.

SO we had a really nice weekend and Connor had a lot of fun for most of that week - now it is back to school and it is like his alergies have come back after a week off too..... so he is suffering a  little today........

No no no no !!!! - I was leaning over the toilet to get something off a shelf  - and when I stretched the whole thing fell out of my belt  and down the toilet! lolol!

But that would have been funnier lol!

Thanks Jackie! Glad you got the new phone. I know it was a pain. I bet you are feeling accomplished with getting everything straight at the house. Yes, the buggas loved playing with all those cars too! Good for you about the Wii. Hope that Connor feels better with his allergies. Hope you are having a nice Monday. :)
