Happy day after Thanksgiving!!!

Sorry I am soooo late. Please do not shoot me. I was soooo busy yesterday that when I crashed, I crashed good.

So welcome to Friday. Black Friday. How was everyone's Thanksgiving. Mine was great. Well most of it. First we went to my father's parent's house. I don't really think of them as grandparents, he's actually my step father but my dad. And well the reason why is a completely different topic. But my parents and Cameron went down there for lunch. It was nice. Then we came back home and went to my brother's wife's parents house. There was a mess of people there and a CARROT CAKE that was calling my name. I did give into temptation and ate ONE bite. It was a nice thing to get rid of my sweet tooth calling and it shut the cake up from screaming "eat me". Then finally we went over to my aunt's house. We played with the babies and had nice laughs.

This morning so far... I just woke up. But I do plan on getting out there to some stores to pick up a few things. I certainly hope that all those early morning shoppers got the deals they were looking for and were safe and WARM.

This weekend, we will be out shopping and taking Cameron to Bass Pro for pics with Santa and christmas children's activities.

Good morning sunshine. I just woke up again. Yesterday we survived. I was a crazy fool that went in line at 1130 last night to get an awesome xbox 360 deal that could not be beat. My sister and I stood in line for 5 1/2 hours in the freezing cold. Good thing we did because they only had 5 systems and we each got one and the others were gone before we turned around.

I am NOT doing any more shopping. PERIOD. I have spent a ton of money that I did not need to. Then my mom called and said she had bought the nintendo ds lite for Alexs Christmas gift(already new that) But then told me my dad bought him a dirt bike. This only grandchild is way to spoiled. My mother in law got him at least 10 gifts and we have at least 50 and this does not even include extended family that spoils him rotten too. So I think we are going to take some of the gifts we got him and donate to Toys for Tots. I bought the majority of the gifts throughout the year 75% off at Target.

Now I am rambling. Well let me get back to cooking my turkey and fixing my sides for day 2 of the feast. My mother in law is coming over today.

Good evening Doll! Glad you got everything you wanted when shopping but I swear... I wonder who raised some of these people that are out shopping. Fights broke out at a local Walmart here, things were taken from my sister in law's shopping cart, not her purse but toys!, and in New York, an employee of Walmart was trampled to death. All of this for gifts? But at least you had a good time and hopefully it was uneventful.

I am patiently waiting for my financial aid disbursement check to come so that I can get Cameron his "big" gifts. But honestly, I really haven't done much shopping. I always wait until the last minute.

Thanksgiving was great around here good looking---you are looking great in your pic. Just so you know I did my shopping today on line so as to avoid the crowds. May do some projects this weekend but nothing major. Hope you and yours have a great weekend as well..Take care, Jim

I am also doing alot of my shopping on line. I have found some great deals so I see no reason in passing them up. Although I still have so much left to do.

I have so much stuff to do at my house, like find my lawn under all the leaves but, alas, it will wait!

yeah, I think you can find a lot of good deals on line if you know where to look. I at least got some of my shopping done. Will attack the leaves around here as well as they have taken over it seems. My best to you and yours this holiday.... Jim

   Theresa, thank you for leading the posting this morning.
   Thanksgiving was wonderful. Shared a meal with friends in the afternoon. In the morning spent time watching the parade and cooking.
   For today, woke up and headed to physical therapy early. Today I could bend my knee at 83*. I was very happy about that. Last week at this time, I could bend the knee at 70*. My goal for next week is 90*.
After my session, headed to our downtown mall to walk and take in the sights. Had lunch and bought 2 advent cards. Ventured into one of the book stores, and John Grisham was leaving. Pretty neat.
  At home, worked on stretching and bending the knee. Had leftovers from yesterday. Watched Polar Express in the evening.
  Enjoy the weekend. May not visit until Monday morning.

I am so glad you are coming along so well with your physical therapy. Seems as though you are making lots of progress. We are all so proud of you! Keep it ou.
