They have many types of hot cocoa protein drinks and stuff like that. I would also suggest borth with Unjury unflavored powder in it. But honestly, I'm not sure if either of these options is what is meant for a pre-op liquid diet. Check with your office. :)
I know there is a mydietshopz (physical) store in Nova somewhere, I'm not sure if Vitamin Shoppe or GNC carry Unjury? But if mydietshopz has hot drink protein, chances are there is another brand out there available at the VS or GNC. Give them a call and see. Personally I go to the VA Center Commons VS and they are always helpful.
Good luck! I totally hear you on being cold and not wanting chilled beverages. I'm cold ALL the time now. Brrrrr.

Hea****er (or milk) in microwave to warm...not boiling.
In cup, put 1 scoop of Matrix protein powder. Slowly add the liquid, stirring as you add. You want to do this slowly so you don't get lumps.

Well, it is going better. I think I'm getting use to drinking hot liquids often to stay warm. I'm not liking this liquid diet very much. Cooking for my kids is like torture! My hubby keeps reminding me that the outcome is worth all of it. He is being a big support. I've been reading the posts here when the family is eating - to take my mind off that I can't eat!
