Spent the night in the er

I am exhausted! I had to go to Saint Marys hospital last night. Last night I had just finished fixing dinner and cleaning it up. I went and sat down to remove my dressing from my feeding tube so I could take a shower.

Well I decided I needed my son to give me a hug before I got in the shower. He came over and hugged me. When he got up to move it pulled my feeding tube almost all the way out. It hurt so bad I thought I would pass out.

Right after I got the feeding tube, they told me if it ever slips out, pu**** right back in or the hole will close. Well I tried to and blood gushed out and horrible pain. So I stood up to call my husband to come home from work and it fell right out.

Hubby rushed home, mother in law came to watch Alex. Well it took me about 90 minutes to get to the hospital after it happened. They pushed and pulled tubes in my stomach. I thought I would die from pain. They did xrays. UGH.

And in the end, after being soaked in blood they said they couldn't  help me anymore. That they will schedule another tube placement tomorrow. So I have to go 45 more minutes to hospital to get placed again.

This is NOT how I planned on celebrating Thanksgiving! I guess we will wait and see when it has to go back in. Oh when they put it in, it hurts so stinking bad. I am considering not putting it back in, but I don't think the doctor will go for it. I tried 1/2 protein drink this morning and vomited within 10 minutes.

Sorry to write so much. Sorry if I sound like a baby, I just needed to vent. Love you guys!

Oh baby girl Im so sorry this is going on now for you but Lord darlin you HAVE TO LET them put this life line back in for now you need it until they can get you settled with keeping in your foods and protein. Girl I know how gross and  painful and  aggravaiting that thing is I was so so happy to get mine out and mine was yanked out so I know how painful it is coming out I cant imagine them trying to put it in while u were awake OMG  girl I was feeling the pain as I read this. Please go do as they have told you and keep us updated and thanks for your kind words earlier I cant stress to you and everyone else the importance of these vitamins and protein and getting information from your surgeons your blood reports if they dont  get back to you with a timely fashion CALL THEM because there are alot of places who wont send or call you.. Prayers are going out for you Brooke hope you and your family have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving.
