Welcome to Monday and a short work week for most of us!

Good Monday AM!  How was you Friday and weekend?  Any special plans for this week?  Ours was and will be jam packed and really rolling!  There is no end in sight!

Friday work like normal and then a ton of errands.  I got home about 8 and then went to bed immediately.  I had to get up at 11 to go to work so I wanted to grab a little sleep.  Kara and Adam stayed home and my best friend and her daughter came and helped me instead.  We got home about 5:30 Saturday AM.  I crashed for a bit then got up and it was off to start Saturday!

I got up and hit a couple of yardsales.  I did not find much but I did get a cute pair of shoes for myself for next spring and got a bit of walking in, too.  After that I had an errand to run over in Chesterfield then it was home again for about 5 minutes.  After that Karen (my best friend) and I went to Buckingham where Steve, my dad, her husband and a couple of others were hunting at.  Usually we would both be in the woods with them all but since I can't hunt right now and she was with me we just decided to surprise them!  We got there late afternoon and then saw that there were FOUR deer!  I had my work cut out for me so I got busy!  We got all of that taken care of and then the meat packaged to come home.  I brought most of it home since we really eat it and shared some with a great friend that also loves to eat it.  It was off to bed shortly after getting home. 

Since this Sunday's paper was rather small because of Thursday's then I decided to stay home and leave all the work to Steve and the kiddos.  I woke them up and got them out the door and then crashed.  I had a hard time sleeping so I got up about 4 and started my day.  It was a day of cleaning and watching movies!  I got a lot of papers sorted and laundry done.  Not too much other than that but I really enjoyed gettting things accomplished.  I cooked venison for dinner and we all had a great time!

On the books for today is...anything you can imagine!  I am leaving in a few minutes to go and do the billing and then coming home.  I took the day off and have a list a mile long to take care of.  I have to finish my shopping for Thursday, prep a dish to take to work tomorrow for our "feast" have some more cleaning to do and want to rearrange some furniture for our Christmas tree to be able to go up this weekend and need to cook dinner, too.

I am only working 1/2 days on Tuesday and Wednesday...Tuesday for a doctor appointment/checkup at the OB's office and Wednesday so I can cook some more and go and start putting the papers together for Thursday.  We will have 1/2 the stops since a lot of places are closed but just as many if not more papers than a Sunday.  It will take all of us and both vehicles to get them done.  We still need to get the van fixed (power steering pump went out last weekend) but that will come with time.

P. S.   I can not post on Friday...I will be waiting in line since sometime late Thursday evening and I will not be home...any volunteers to take it over for me just that one day?????  I can and will post every other day this week...including fabulous Turkey Day!

Morning Beautiful Mama!!!  So glad to hear you had such a great weekend and a good week planned too.  My weekend was pretty fabulous too!  Was pretty exhausted Friday but managed to make it out to dinner with a friend, then home to crash.  Saturday hubby & I headed out to my dad's for the last of my bday celebrations!  It is quite the joke that I have a birthday week instead of just a day.  Yesterday I was up and out the door with a friend to do some shopping for myself with bday $ I got from dad.  Got  lots of great clothes for work and a couple of pairs of jeans.  Then we headed over to the movies to see Twilight.  Finished up the day with a nice evening at home.  Hubby had stayed home & did the laundry and most of the cleaning so it looks like I will get a relatively easy week at home.

On the books for today is work, but I took the rest of the week off so I should be able to make it through one day!  We get the girlies tonight & tomorrow to make up some time cause they will be with their mom for the holiday weekend.  Have a few dr. appts myself this week, hubby has a dentist appt. and then it is family time on Wednesday & Thursday!  Friday will be some shopping for us too.  Hope you have a great one!!!

Enjoy the rest of your week home from work!  I do love how you get lots of b-day celebrations.  You are so lucky!  Shopping is always so much fun now...especially when it is not really coming out of your pocket!

Glad you are having some time with the girlies.  I know how much you all love it.

Good morning Tam!

WOW! Super busy. I got tired reading all about it, lol! Sounds like lots of fun. For me, the weekend was great. Friday night was an evening home, with my best friend and her daughter and we all played games. Saturday was a nice dinner. A friend of mine took Cameron, my neice, my mom and I out to dinner, then the kids and him & I went shopping. I FINALLY got some new jeans. I am now in a size 18 in jeans! Didn't think the bottoms would ever shrink in size to catch up with the top! Sunday was like Friday night. Not too much of anything. Watched DVR movies that I had DVR'd all weekend. Gotta love Lifetime Movie Network! Played more games with Cameron and did do my laundry. Didn't rest well but this is a short week at school for me.

Since you will be shopping Friday, I'd be happy to post for you. I am not going out that day. Let me know. I hope everyone has a great Monday. Be safe & stay warm!

This is one of my busiest weeks all year!  I love it but am completely exhausted by Friday evening and just want to sleep for days!  That is not possible this year...but I will get some rest Friday afternoon and then on Saturday afternoon, too.  I am really looking forward to doing nothing!

Congrats on the size 18's.  You will be smaller before you know it, so don't buy too many of them!

it would be FABULOUS if you would post Friday AM.  I will resume as soon as I can but I know I can't commit to that day.  I appreciate it!  I will continue to post thru Thursday and then resume on Monday, if not the weekend.  It all depends on how much I have to do!  I know there will be cleaning and Sunday we are decorating and I have to get some things wrapped when no one is home!

Happy Monday to ya!!!!

Ok...I did WAY too much yesterday and am staying in today to make up for it.  It's a weird feeling to do nothing, but....I'll make the sacrifice (haha).

Actually, I plan to do a bit of reading today and to work on making my Christmas cards and some other projects today.  Hubby is going to the store for me to pick up my Thanksgiving stuff, so I don't have to deal with that at all (nice....).  However, I might run to Costco later tonight.  Depends on how I feel, as my legs were SO swollen yesterday that my knees hurt.

So, you're heading out Friday?  I'm planning it, but everything that I wanted to pick up, I've already picked up for a few dollars more than the sale price and avoided the lines.  BUT...I'll be ont he hunt for a digital picture frame for my Mom, so I might head to Kohls.  We'll see......

Yeppers...I will be out EARLY with all of the other crazy peeps on Friday morning.  I have already bough most everything that I need to get and intend on getting but kara wants a lap top so I will be on the hunt for one of those.  Other than that it will just be picking up things I see that I want to add to what I have already purchasaed!  I could be done once I get the laptop and I may end up ordering her a custom one from Dell anyway...we will see what happens.  I am so used to going out then that I would probably go even if I did not have to buy anything!  I thrive on the madness there! 

Stop overdoing it!  You will only hinder your recovery!  Plus...you need to save your energy to cook for Thursday!  What would JOhn and Patrick say if THEY had to do the cooking???

   The weekend was quiet with knee exercises, some cooking and a trip to the store. Bought a turkey breast and ingredients to make green bean casserole...yum!
  Watched Dirty Dancing last night. A friend lended movies, so I am slowly going through them.
    Today will include a trip to the gym forphysical therapy and relaxing in the hot tub. I may try to clean up the porch...still have summertime decorations. Need to clean it up for Christmas decorating.
     If Jill is not able to post, I will certainly jump in on Friday. Happy shopping to all!!

Glad you are still able to get things done...even though you can't drive!  I have been praying that things will work out and you would be able to get your dinner fixin's home!
