Is it weird...
That I have never had that awful (at least from what everyone says) full feeling yet? I have been wondering if I have just been stopping eating before I got that feeling? Has anyone else not felt it before? There have been a few times that I was surprised that I didn't get that feeling because I probably ate a little bit more than I should have. I just thought it was strange that i hadn't felt it yet.
It can take a few months for your nerves to completely heal & for you to be able to feel that feeling. It probably won't feel the same as it did before surgery. Some people end up with different body signals, a sneeze or burp when you are full, etc. Just keep monitoring your body til it shows you so that you will be aware.
I try extremely hard NOT to get that awful full feeling. I used to measure everything now I just eyeball it...but I am over 3 years out, too. Like Courtney said...you are not fully healed yet...give it time!
