Saturday is finally here!
Ventured out to the store...bought a turkey breast and a few sides for a yummy meal. Most Thanksgivings find me working at the group home. With being on sick leave and family in New York, Thanksgiving will be quiet. May go to the Salvation Army and help to serve their meal.
Stay warm!!

Hey girl! I've had such a fun filled weekend this is my first time sitting down to the computer.
I have heard such good things of crockpot cooking. It sounds like trying the chicken and also with a new chili recipe that you are a cooking lover. Yummo!
Glad you guys got the 1/2 days accepted. I know it's a tough time, but hang in there and keep plugging along. :)
Yesterday Mom, Nate and I went down to Garden Ridge in Chesapeake. It was nice to shop in one of my favorite stores that left the richmond area about a year ago. I picked up a couple of christmas decorating goodies. :)
Yesterday evening Nate and I had a date night with a nice dinner out and a run to Michaels to use the 40% coupon I got in last weeks flyer. I rarely get the flyers out in Aylett anymore and was excited for a chance to buy something new. I mainly buy crafting books with the 40% off coupons otherwise they are so expensive. This time I bought a book on crocheting. I used to crochet so much and recently bought some new supplies. I figured it would be fun to try out a few new stitches.
Today I had a lovely day with Cindy and Ann. We had lunch and talked about her soldier project. It was also a pleasure meeting her son, hubby and two beautiful horses. It's not everyday that you get to pet a horse. They really are beautiful creatures. I am putting at end of a long day with a big smile on my face. :)
