6 week Post op appointment

Nothing too exciting to report. I'm okay, my labs are okay, and my weight is decreasing!!! I'm down 2 pant sizes and several shirt sizes. I was wearing a 30/32 (4x) which was a bit big, but yesterday I bought 18/20 shirts and they fit great!!! It seems I'm getting much smaller up top much faster then the bottom...anyone else experience this?

I've lost 30lbs. since surgery and I had lost 20 before surgery

Awesome weight loss and inches, too! You are doing fantastic. Yep, I am a pear shape and lost tons up top before the bottom. Honestly, the bottom never got where I thought it should be in conjunction with my top...but I am not complaining. I am/was happy with my results. Keep up the good work and do not buy too many clothes! You will under-grow them too fast. I used the goodwill and consignment stores a lot!

Ahh yes I go to the Salvation army every Wednesday..around here they have 50% off clothes every wednesday. I have a ton of Jeans down to size 14 (I'm short so when I see a short/petite size i grab them). I just never find shirts in good condition. I went out yesterday to Fashion bug and got 3 nice shirts for $22 (had a $10 off coupon :)

Good deal shopping with coupons and 50% off is fabulous! I may have to venture down that way when I am on maternity leave just to shop at a half off sale!

UMMM...I have NO IDEA! I do know that most folks lose more on the top than the bottom and it also comes off quicker from the top but I have no personal experience! I can't wait to see your results! Then I will know, too!

I thought preop I was evenly shaped..maybe not??? I'm definatly not now. In fact my sides got so small that I swing my arms when I walk and I don't hit my belly, but I DO hit my hips. Of course hubby doesn't mind this shape at all...LOL I have a small waist that I suddenly want to show off..LOL
