Update on me. Dr appt yesterday

Hey guys. I went to the doctor yesterday and saw Jeanine. They fixed my feeding tube so that is not leaking anymore.
I have officially lost 103 pounds since June 2nd.
And most important we talked about my mental well being and food issues. We decided that I will be going to a therapist to work on them.
I am still going to be doing 4 tube feedings a day through my next appt which is December 17th and then she wants to reevaluate after that. I am calling the therapist today to see when I can get in. Thanks everyone for the support you have shown to me.

Sounds like you had a very productive doctor appointment and most importantly that you spoke about your depression and issues. I am very proud of you for taking the steps and seeing a therapist. You are doing great! Can't wait for the next update and congrats on the 103 lbs gone forever!

Thanks ladies. I was scared to mention it. I was going to, but she actually recommended it first. She must have been able to tell. I am in wonderful hands and will get the help I probably need.

Sweetie that is great and I am so proud of you. You are reaching out when you need to and not scare to ask for help when needed. I bet when the next appointment comes you will be down to maybe 2 feedings and eating other foods. Congrads on the 103 pounds gone for good and more coming off.

If you don't mind me asking - how do the tube feedings work? Can you eat anything at all?

I am allowed to eat, but don't usually. I am scared of getting sick. I usually vomit when I eat. I will eat every couple days or so, but not much more than that. Jeanine really wants me to eat though. I do the best I can.
