Good AM! How are you this cold Monday morning? How was your weekend? What's on the books for today?

We got the day started bright and early...like EVERY Monday! I left the house at 4:30 to start working and will hopefully get home by 7 tonight. So other than work...no big plans for today.

Saturday was spent with Kara and Adam. Steve and my dad went hunting. We got a lot of errands done and some shopping and made some lists for Christmas, too. Came home and vegged for a bit and crashed about 9 to get a couple of hours of sleep before work.

Sunday was nice, too. I stayed in bed until 8 AM! I have not done that in ages! I got up and went to work while Steve caught up on some sleep. Then he went to work for a bit and we were both home by 2 for the day. I picked up Adam and brought him over for the day. We watched the race and I caught up on the laundry and made a nice dinner. I got the billing all ready to go for today and we hit the sack about 10 or so.

I am hoping for a relaxing week and to be able to knock some stress out!

The munchkin and I stayed in bed until 10...we had a rough night with her cough. We watched Dora, Wonder Pets, Diego, the usual Monday things, did some laundry, planned out my food for the day. I'm working on getting my protein intake up and still have yet to find a drink I can tolerate well. What is it with the protein bars being chocolate. This weekend my mom and daughter and I went to Newport News to Trader Joe's...we're supposed to get one here... I hope so! We stocked up on some yummy things and their prices are good on alot of things! Friday night I went and got a tattoo to celebrate my 100 pounds! Worked on some school work, did some laundry, just kinda did our thing. Just staying low key, knowing finals and the holidays are right around the corner. I can't wait for it though. Still come here for my daily boost, I know even if I don't post I can find something to help make things better. Got some family stuff going on trying to not let it get me down or drive me back to my old habits of hitting the drive thru.
I'm hoping with the cold weather i'll feel more motivated to get out and walk everyday. I hate the heat ( i know I live at the beach!) Trying to plan an escape from here, even if just for the day. I think I'm feeling stuck and don't know how to get out of it.

Oh how I wish I could stay in bed until 10 any given day! Even if I did not have a million and one things to do I would still have to get up several times to potty...baby loves sitting right on my bladder! I am kind of looking forward to watching all of those things. Kara was either not into them or they were not around when she was that small. Good luck on getting the protein up. Do you not like chocolate? I was semi recently shown how yummy the EAS Advantage RTD shakes from Wal-Mart are. They come in Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry but I have honestly only tried the Chocolate ones. They are awesome to me, have 17 grams of protein and I have two per day. A word of caution though...if you do try these DO NOT get the Myoplex version. It does have 42 gramsof protein but has way too many carbs, sugars and calories! We just recently got a Tader Joes here in the Richmond area (short pump, actually) and I LOVE it! They do have some awesome prices and some really healthy foods, too. I go there about every two weeks. You got a tattoo? Of what? Where? I wish I had have known you wanted one. Steve does that on the side. I bought him a tattoo gun for fathers day last year. It is what he wanted! He has given me some and he does his own, too. After Froggy arrives I may be in line for another! If you hate the heat now...wait until you get closer to goal. You will LOVE it and hate the cold. I stay cold most of the time and carry a sweatshirt everywhere I go...even in the middle of the summer! I am sorry you are going thru some things but you know where to find me if you need ANYTHING. You can PM or use MySpace if you want. I am always here!

I may have to try those...I've been through tons of them...my poor friend everytime I try a new one he knows they're coming his way.....Tell Steve not to worry, I have more in store, Friday's made #4. It was actually an unplanned tattoo, it just happen to come on the same day as the 104 mark! A friend and I went in to get our tounges pierced (ha there are pics on myspace, there are pics of my new tattoo also) and ran into someone I knew from high school who is apprenticing there. He had a drawing he had done and wanted to tattoo it on someone, I was like sure why not....i'm a sucker. I'm wanting to get one done for my daughter, so maybe if Steve wanted to do that....i'm always game ;) I also have one that needs coloring. I'm glad you gave the word of caution for the myoplex ones, i had looked at those, but was in such a rush that day, never made it back over to pick any up. I got some yummy chicken burgers at Trader Joe's and they have 22g of protein per burger...and so yummy they have artichoke and asiago in them. mmmm....I'm trying the chile lime ones for lunch today. I was glad to see the great prices on Allie's veggie-burgers and such. They've gotten so expensive!! My mom stocked up on some wine and I got greek yogurt. I was surprised to see so much in such a small store! Girl you have so much on your plate, I know you're here if I need you, i'll try not to need you though ;)

The shakes I get are $4.97 for 4 of them and they are the RTD ones. Just get them cold first and you are good to go! I will let Steve know about the tatt's. He loves getting and giving them. I have to order him some more supplies, too. Boy, that stuff aint cheap! Yep...I saw the pics and posting about your tounge...will have to look for the pic of the tatt. Unfortulately for me I can't get too much when I go shopping at TJ's. I am too picky on the flavorings! I do love the greek yogurt though. It is so much cheaper than Ukrops! Yep...I always do have a lot on my plate but I swear...I thrive on it. It makes my days enjoyable. Need me whenever...I am ALWAYS here...no matter what! Let me know which direction you are going to get away. Also, the info is posted about Legendary Santa so let me know if you are coming this way for that! We can do lunch or something.

I bet steve would be lots cheaper than the shop too .....escaping would be up that way for sure. It's the only way I go. Unless I go way up north to my other family and this time of the year I avoid that area :) I'm going to check the legendary santa stuff. I want to try and get there for sure!

Hi Tammy,
Good morning to you!!! The weekend was quiet and relaxing. Worked on those knee exercises and took a nice walk yesterday.
Started to read The Last Lecture. Also worked on my resume' and applied to two jobs on-line.
For Monday, I head out to physical therapy in a few.Going out to dinner with friends this evening.
If the weather holds out tomorrow, I am going to venture out by bus to a shopping center. I am working on some Christmas gifts and need some supplies.
Hope that you week is relaxing and stress-free.

Hey there, Cindy! Glad to see you are up and around and that you are following doctors orders and doing those exercises. Hope all goes nicely at PT and dinner this evening. I may have to look into the book and see if I might like to read it. I saw one in Starbucks this AM that I am going to check out from the library. It sounded good. I can't recall the name but I wrote it down so I wouldn't forget! Good luck on the jobs! I am sure you will get something great when the time is right. I think the weather should be good tomorrow...just extremely cold so bundle up if you do venture out!

One suggestion of a good book is The Shack. Marley and I, which is now in paperback, will be coming to the theater near Christmas.
