Hello...

Just peeking in and saying hello.  Can you believe how hot Lauren is?  OMG!!  Girl, you are looking good.

I know my last post here was about being sick.  I never did make it into the surgeons, I was able to start getting food down.  I ended up canceling the appointment.  It is still off and on problems and I see the surgeon in a couple of weeks fro my 6 month check in Dec.  I am still not eating like I should, maybe once a day.  I am getting my protein and vits in so that is vital.  I think majority of my problem right now is stress.  Work is mad crazy.  I have 21 contracts and I am only able to do the bare  minimal to get by with them, which in my book is not good enough.  My manager is looking at taking some of the slack off for me.  Who knows how long that will be though.  I have already worked 50 hours last week and looking at putting 8 hrs in tomorrow.  We have major reporting due this week plus I have 3 pages of to do lists.  WHEW!!

I think the st res is effecting my stomach, ability to eat, and to keep things down. On the good side, I got a promotion, effective this past pay check!!  I went in and asked for it and she agreed I was operating at a higher level then what my current level was, so she gave it to me without a bat of an eye.  It came with a good pay increase so that helps.  She also gave all of us PCAs a nice little bonus, which helps with Christmas.

I am having problems with dizziness, so I am wondering if my BP is dropping really low.  I will address this with the surgeon when I go see him.

Melissa,
I haven't been on much myself. Even though I work 6 hours a day, I bring soooo much work home with me.
I picked up some type of 'intestinal trouble" and have been on the BRAT diet...bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. And tons of water.

Hope you are feeling better soon. You look drop dead georgous in your avatar.

You are too much - THANKS!

CONGRATS on the promotion!  WOOHOO!  I know that definately boosts you and the extra money comes at a great time of year.  :)

As I like to say "Keep on, keeping on" with getting the meals in, and it's good that you are focusing on the protein and vits as a minimum.  I know what you mean about stress and it affecting your eating habits and all.  It's hard, but you will prevail and get in all that you can.

I'm hoping once you get the meals back on track that your dizziness will subside.  I'm thinking that they are probably related.  I have found that although I'm not necessarily hungry, my body knows when it's getting it's fuel in and I don't feel well or get cranky when I don't eat at or around the times I'm used to.  I have a pretty strict eating schedule because of that.  It's like the body just knows.

HUGS!

Hi Melissa,
  COngratulations on your new promotion.
Stress can tax our bodies. For four weeks I have been on sick leave due to knee surgery. I am so relaxed from the work stuff, which gives me more time to focus on therapy and healing.
Take time for your new YOU.
Peace,

Melissa,  I am glad that you are feeling better but I still think you shoudl go and visit the doctor because they can run tests that will determine if it is stress related or an intestinal bug - even thiugh you are managing you are not doing what you would have been doing if you were feeling better....

Good to see you posting again though

Hey Sweetie!  A promotion??  That's terrific news!  Lord knows you earned it!

Ok, so not that it's any of my business, but I don't understand why you canceled your appointment & am waiting an additional two weeks.  Come on little Sis...what's going on with you  has been going on too long already.  I suppose you have your reasons, but I don't get it.  At any rate, I totally hope you get to feeling better very soon.

Hugs!
Ann
