Exciting shopping trip...

...for a weird reason.

Yesterday I stopped off at Lane Bryant on my way home for a bra sale, it wasn't the one I thought was going on (ended up being online purchases only), but I still took the opportunity to try on all the styles again in my now smaller size and found one I liked.  I got a black and red.  Do you KNOW how long it's been since I had a red bra.  I can't WAIT to wear it and feel sexy.  :)

But, here's the cooler news - I have never tried on a pair of pants at Lane Bryant but knew they have that right fit sizing for hourglass shapes and thought I could get a nice fitting pair of pants.  So for the very first time at LB I got measured.  They told me not to buy them.  I would now fit in their smallest size and because the clothes "stretch with you" it would be no time before they didn't fit me (I explained when bra shopping that I was still losing weight).  The one girl even commented - well soon enough you won't be able to shop here!  WHAT A HOOT.  Too small for Lane Bryant.  That rocks.  :)  Well except that my beloved underwear that I've been wearing for the last 10 years I won't fit in soon enough.  Sniffle.  Then I actually have to go underwear shopping.  LOL.  I looked at Kohls and it was absolutely overwhelming.  There are too many shapes, styles and materials available.

I just thought I'd share this cool news. 

Good for you Lauren!  how exciting, i think pretty soon, we'll just call in and tell Lane Bryant to stop sending me a catalog every other day!  I hear you on the underwear too!  i desparately need to go shopping too!  trying to hold off as long as I can!   Keep up the good work!  lys

Hey You:  CONGRATULATIONS!!!  It is so cool to find out you don't fit into something because you are getting too small, isn't it???  I still have a hard time adjusting to the idea that I don't need to go to the women's section of Kohls or other stores...I find myself automatically going over in that direction, and have to stop myself, and reroute to another part of the store.  On a surprise trip my sisters took me on about a month ago, they took me into a Jones of New York outlet store, and made me try on clothes (I hate trying them on, lol) so I could buy some things that they knew I would never buy...they did me such a favor, because I had no idea how to shop for "real clothes!"  We got some fantastic deals, and now, I have a sense of what to look for.  Thanks, sisters!  hehe  You look fantastic, my friend -- keep up the great work!  :)

It is cool looking for "real clothes" now.  I got so used to wearing a damn potato sack with sleeves and a couple of sequins to spruce it up.  LOL.

Well, looking at those new pictures of yours -- you look amazing, and will never have to think about potato sacks again! :)

I always wore those TOO! Now, I wear red sequins with cleavage as far as I can take it...My husband has a new woman after 38 years....You will see....you will LOVE THIS LIFE!!! Even more than you have already!!)

That is SO cool! NOW take the plunge and go to Victoria's Secret and let them get you into the right bra...you will be amazed. i have been EE, DD, D, C...They gave me the proper fit and I was astounded!  God for you!!!
