Welcome to Saturday!

Welcome to saturday ladies and gents!  finally able to sleep til 8am, i feel sooo much better with some extra sleep.  On tap for me LOTS of house cleaning having about 15 over tomorrow (from MD), all my husbands old buddies and their familes, having a chili party.  HOORAY!  I got some achieve one cappucino (been out for months), so i'm now a happy protein girl!  I hope you all have a great weekend!  Lys

Since not sleeping much, I have no energy and my house is a mess. Worst part is, I really don't care. I am usually not like that. We have all our Christmas stuff pulled down from the attic just sitting here. But today is a new day. I plan on sitting in my mess until around 12 and then heading to my moms house to celebrate her birthday. Then drop my son off at mother in laws tonight because I have to work tomorrow. Good AM!  Just popping on here to check things out before heading out the door for a fun filled day.  Kara, Adam and I are headed to Costco for a few necessities and off to the mall for some window shopping, shopping and exchanging.  We will grab some lunch at some point.  Then we are headed up to the hunting cabin to surprise my dad and Steve with dinner and some relaxing time around a campfire before heading back to get ready for work tonight.  Hope all is well with you and yours...have fun cleaning (that will be me tomorrow!) and have a great chili party!  Enjoy those AO's.  I have found that I have four cases of AO and I don't like the taste like I once did.  I now use them when I am out of my other!

I had a long day at work yesterday but got off and met Nate for dinner at Hill City Chophouse.  I had the most fantastic filet mignon.  YUMMO!  :)  It was perfectly cooked.  I literally ate just the steak, I didn't waste more than a bite or two on the side dish and salad.  LOL

I went to bed VERY late last night and am feeling the aftereffects of missed sleep this morning.  I have a horrible headache.  UGG.  But I'm feeling great and still expecting for a good day!  :)

We are headed off to run some errands this afternoon and then a very special meeting later on today.  I'm excited.

 Woke upto rain, so decided to stay in. Worked on knee exercises and worked on laundry. Wrote some notes to mail out. Began to read The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch.
FOr a day and a half the computer would not connect to the internet. All yesterday and part of today today I tried to figure out what happened. At last, I was able to get online this afternoon.
With being home for most of my days, the internet is my window fo the outside world. Also missed reading and posting on the Virginia boards.
   The rest of the weekend will be devoted to knee exercises and reading The Last Lecture.
