Happy Friday!
Our Thursday was awesome. Work went very nice...busy, but good. I left early to go to the doctor for my two week check up. All went well seeing the specialist and I got to see another ultrasound. Heartbeat is great (154) and everything else is exactly as it should be as well. Then it was time to see the regular OB. She was running EXTREMELY behind...over an hour! Steve and I waited and it seemed to take forever. We finally got back to see her and she just asked a bunch of questions. All went well. My due date may have changed to 04-09...but no decision has been made yet. They want to review all of the ultrasounds together. After that it was nothing but family time! Steve, Kara and I spent the evening together. We went to dinner and then to Short Pump Towne Center to do a little shopping for necessities and to window shop for some Christmas ideas. We all had a fabulous time. I greatly enjoy off of these special moments that I get with Kara. She is growing up so fast! We went to bed pretty quickly after getting back.
On the books for today...work and then home. I will come home to an empty house...Steve and dad will be hunting and Kara will be with Adam. I will get a few things done and then hit the bed in preperation for work tonight. Nothing major.
Tomorrow is another story! I will probably sleep for a couple of hours and then get the day started. I have a few yard sales mapped out to go to and need to hit up five below while they are having a sale this week. I also need to go to Hot Topic and exchange a pair of pants we got last night for a smaller size for Kara. I have some chores to do around the house and would like to fit a nap in there somewhere! We will see how the day goes.

As it is a weekend with the kiddies I am not sure what the plans are, they are ever changing. I think one has a school dance tonight so we will probably be picking them up late. Nothing really planned for tomorrow so we shall see what happens. My sister called last night to say my nephew wants to come spend the night so we might be getting him on Saturday. Sunday we will head over to my mom's to celebrate my bday which is next week.

Morning beautiful! I heart the relaxing family weekends more than anyone knows. Kara is growing up so fast that I need to take in every minute that I can! We had such a great time walking around the mall. And I get to do it again tomorrow when we go to exchange the pants for a smaller pair! It will be a different mall so we need to walk some more...good exercise and time together and I am looking forward to it!
Boy, don't I know about the weekends with the kiddies Kara has a school dance tonight, too! I will drop off her and Adam and then come home to go to bed early. My mom offered to pick them up so I could get some sleep/rest. Funny thing...my mom is actually being helpful now that I am preggers instead of packing more on me and causing arguments! I like it! I am having a better relationship with her now than I have ever had.
I know you will have a blast if/when you get your nephew, too. Enjoy every minute of it!
Happy early Birthday and enjoy the time at your moms. She is such a wonderful lady. Oh yeah...can you get me that recipe for the punch she made for your wedding? I can't have any now...but I can next summer!

This weekend I will be taking Connor to spend the weekend with his dad so I have the weekend to myself. This will take a bit of getting used to and hurts a little but I know I need to just get used to it and hope that Connor will be fine. Bill's mom will be there so I know who will be looking after Connor the most - sigh........
Anyway weather is supposed to be good and I have lots of invites to do things so when I get bored with the packing I will go out....

Good luck with the unpacking. I know it will get done in due time. As long as you have the necessities already out then you will be fine and get there when you get there. No hurry.
I hope you have a peaceful weekend with Connor visiting his dad. Feel reassured that his grandmother will be there to look after him. This just means that he is well taken care of and know that you are only a phone call away if he needs something! I will be saying extra prayers for you both!
Get out and enjoy yourself some. You deserve some adult time. Enjoy it while you can!

Coming from a child of divorced parents & having step children, make it positive as much as you can, including your relationship with Bill. It will make things so much easier for Connor. It will take some getting used to for all of you but it is possible to make it a positive situation.
