6 days post-op LBL & BL
I am really amazed at how good I actually feel. I am getting up and around much easier than after my RNY and doing more. I am still getting lots of rest and taking it easy. I have a follow-up tomorrow and one on Monday. They pulled the 2 drains in my boobs yesterday and I am not sure how long I will have the ones in my abdomen and back. Probably a little longer still I am sure.
But just wanted to let everyone I am doing well.
I came out of surgery with 6 drains. Down to 4... and can't wait to be without any so I can fly to get my little girl from my sisters house. I am now 6 weeks from moving to Belgium...yeah me.. I am soo excited.

My hubby got promoted, and the next thing we knew his branch manager asked if he wanted Belgium and my husband was like HELL YES.... lol...so I feel like I am in such limbo with moving....but anxious to travel and explore a new country. We are still staying in Petersburg until we move....but I am still in Washington....but hope to get my last 2 drains pulled on Monday and return home soon.

Congratulations, Brandy! I am so happy for you. I knew you would do well. Belgium is beautiful! We have to arrange a meet and greet before you go once you get back to the Richmond area. Here's to getting the other 4 drains pulled and having your daughter in your arms again!
