Happy Friday
Our Thursday was interesting. Work went well and was really typical. Nothing big or out of the ordinary which was nice! Left on time and went straight to dinner. Surprisingly things went pretty well. She pulled all of her usual bololgna but realized early on that Steve and I were not having it and saw right thru it! She settled down pretty quickly and we had a fairly nice time. It was actually better than tolerable! We came home and did a few things then it was off to bed early. I was still in a bit of pain from my back and mentally exhausted!
Nothing special on the books for today...so far! I am working the usual then have a couple of errands to do after that. I hope to get to bed early. Kara, Adam and I will be doing the papers. Steve and my dad left this AM to go hunting and will be back tomorrow night.
I am not 100% sure about tomorrow yet. I think I will be taking Kara and Adam to the mall so we can hit up Hot Topic and Spencers and I know I have one errand to get done as well. There are also a few places that I want to window shop at and get some ideas for Christmas and some pricing as well.
Sunday should be a "work" day at the house. I have some honey-do things on a list for Steve and by then I will have more laundry and such to do. I plan on having some relaxing time...but I am not sure when that will be!

Well...I'm headed out the door for the weekend. Hubby and I are taking the motorcycles up to Fairfax for my PS pre-op and then to Waynesboro for the weekend. We are riding on Skyline drive this weekend - I'm excited!
So...I need to get off of here to finish packing.

Life could not get any better than this!
Thursday was so busy that I forgot to post. The day began with a post-op visit with the surgeon. The knee is not bending like it should and the physical therapist scared me by saying that the doc would have to manipulate it.
My surgeon said that after three weeks out, the knee is where it should be. With outpatient physical therapy beginning on Friday, this could help to increase the bending.
Following the doc appointment, I went out for lunch with a friend and then to the grocery store. When I got home, I was tired. Worked on some exercises and rested.
Friday began with breakfast with friends. Soon I will have physical therapy outside of the house. The evening has some possibilities.
This weekend will include reading and working on some crafts. Hope to go downtown by bus on Saturday. Being not able to drive helps me to use other modes of transportation.

Sounds like things with the knee are progressing nicely. Glad the post op visit went good and that you are able to do the exercises. Hopefully the outpatient PT will help tremendously with that. Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your bus trip into town!

Life could not get any better than this!
Yesterday went good. I spent most of my morning/afternoon getting myself together to go out for the day. I don't know if it's me or what but it takes me about 2 hrs from geting up to get vitamins and protein in me before heading outside. So I headed out with hubby around 3pm to do some shopping and spend some time together as I hardly see him. Came home around 8pm and relaxed for the rest of the night. Kids were at my mom's house and my oldest is driving me insane at this time. My oldest Sarah(14) loves Hot Topic she dress'***** (God help me!!). Today not much going on just gonna watch movies we rented last night and relax. I did reserve hotel room for next weekend we are going to Carolina Premium Outlets so I can get a jump start on my Christmas shopping. Have a great day everyone!!
