Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Good I hope. :) How was your weekend? Ours was nice & relaxing for the most part. Friday Mom, the buggas & I went trick or treating. About 4 blocks or so in Nora got hurt and scrapped her knee so Mom brought her home in the wagon and Kayla & I continued on. It was a lot of fun. We met up with our neighbor and her son and his grandparents and then headed to 2 other places then called it a night. We combined all the candy into one. We watched Ghost Hunters then conked out.

Saturday the buggas & I ran some errands and then came home and I raked leaves into a pile for them and they played around in it. Later in the night a couple friends came by and it was a weird and interesting talk all at the same time. The weather the whole weekend was absolutely gorgeous.

Sunday we got up and vegged in the house for a bit. Grabbed the paper from outside, made some coffee and enjoyed inside time until it warmed up. The buggas & I took their wagon, 3 rakes and raked the front and back yard putting the leaves into the wagon and dumping them into a big pile in the back yard. They had such a blast and got in quite the workout as well! Then close to lunch time we made a picnic lunch and took a blanket outside and laid it in the shade and had a nice picnic in nature.

Afterwards, we came inside and we put up laundry and cleaned house some. When the buggas headed back outside to play for a bit I finished more chores and then watched a very touching movie. For me, I'll never forget where I have been that's for sure. In the evening we got jammies on and made a pizza and watched Jack Frost then conked out.

What's on the books for your Monday? Today is a 1/2 day for Kayla which is kewl! In the meantime, I'm going to get some work out of the way so that I can spend time with the buggas outside. Looks like it will be 68 and possible rain today but am hoping it holds out a bit. This pm I've got a meeting and pray that goes smoothly. There are some things in between so I best get my day started. Hope everyone has a GRAND Monday!

Morning Beautiful!  Glad to hear you had a good weekend!  Sounds like you & the buggas really enjoyed yourself.

Friday the hubby & I headed to a friends house to hang out.  Came home & hit the bed early.  Saturday was up and off to soccer, then the girlies & I had hair appointments.  Then it was off to check out an open house vendor party (Pampered Chef, Slumber Parties, Tastefully simple, Country Living, Partylite, and a jewelry vendor were all there).  Nothing caught my interest to buy but it was fun.  Sunday was a lazy day, we got up, did breakfast, worked on laundry, cleaning, and just enjoyed the time together.  Hubby & the girles got out to enjoy the weather, I stayed in cause my tummy was feeling yucky.  On the books for today is work, the gym, and who knows what else.  Hope you have a great one!  Love you much!!

Good morning, sunshine!

Glad to know that you had a fabulous weekend.  I know it was well needed.  Praying for you and the buggas and that this evenings meeting goes well.  I am sure it will...but saying prayers anyway!

This morning started off a bit behind and I thought it was going to throw everything off.  Prayers were answered and all went smoothly.  I got all done that I normally would and am preparing to finish this evening.  Hopefully that will go just as smoothly and I can get home at a decent time.

Love you much!

Good Morning to all!!
The weekend was great!! Filled with home visits by the physical therpist and the nurse. Yesterday I advanced from a walker to a cane. Soon the home visits will end and outpatient physica therapy will begin.
Working on some craft projects for Christmas. I love to paint birdhouses, and am working on a Gingerbread House. Thinking of ideas for homemade Christmas presents this year.
Today I am going to continue to read Fried Green Tomatoes and have to pay some bills today.
By being home and not being able to drive, I am saving quite a bit of money. Though I miss getting out independently, I don't miss spending the money.
   Peace to all.

I love homemade gifts and kudos for you to give such a sentimental thing for the holidays.  :)

I have not read Fried Green Tomatoes but REALLY enjoyed the movie.  TOWANDA!!!!!!!!!  Don't you wish you could do that?  :)  Also, Jessica Tandy is a favorite of mine.  I used to be a police dispatcher in the town that she lived (Easton CT) when she was alive.  My mom even met her!  She was not only a classy actress but very nice in person.

Have a great rest of the day.

Good Morning All,

This weekend was nice for the beginning. Friday the kids and I went to the Fall Festival at the church we got to pet the animals and my oldest spent the whole time sitting on the ground holding a rabbit. She use to breed them and we had a total of 47 rabbits in all. Saturday we opened the windows and let in the fresh air and enjoyed spending time wih the kids. Saturday night I made a turkey roast for dinner and I tried a small piece of it and spent the next 4 hrs had to call my doctor and was put on bed rest and clear liquids for Sunday. Sunday the kids hung out with my mom, sister and nephews as I hung out at home in my recliner. Whats on books for today? I'm cooking a roast in crockpot all day and getting the house clean. Gotta pick up my cousin in law from school and he is spending the night over here. Gonna check homework and feed everyone and then off to the gym I go. I like going to the gym at night... less crowded. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

I had a very nice Halloween and weekend.  Friday evening was spent at Mom and Dad's for dinner and trick or treating.  I really enjoyed passing out candy to the little ones.  There was a little fairy that showed up who was DARLING.  Her wings even lit up!  :)

Saturday I had lunch out with a friend and really enjoyed our time together.  Saturday evening I rented a bunch of scary movies and tinkered on the internet continuing to research my vote for tomorrow.  I will be glad to go to the poles tomorrow and see what the results will be.  I'm also glad to (hopefully) be ending a several months long debate between my sister-in-law and myself.  We differ so much on the "hot button issues".

Sunday I spent listening to music and reflecting a bit.  Unfortunately I became angry at some issues I've been dealing with.  I took my pent up energy and cleaned.  Yes...ME!  I got alot done and felt good once I finished what I could before dinner.  I can't say I've soothed the soul, but I sure was a busy bee and the house looks presentable which is a comforting change.

This weekend I also went to Family Christian Store to get a prayer card for a friend.  While I was there I enjoyed looking through all the merchandise.  I picked out a bracelet that has the Serenity Prayer engraved in it.  I'm hoping it can help me through these tumultuous times.  A few days earlier I picked up new stone whose properties are for calming anxiety, etc.etc.  I need all the help I can get.  I'm also looking forward to scheduling a Reiki Massage when a new shop in my area gets their schedule up and running.

So, here we are halfway through Monday and things are going pretty well.  I'm thankful.
