What is going on with me!

I know I have been very quiet lately and wanted to tell you all, my family, what has been happening here.....

My mother in law had some heart issues and had surgery - it was very scary and we are all waiting to see how she does with this or they may operate again but they say she is not stable enough for more surgery right now..... they are considering a pacemaker for her too....

My olderst cat looked like he had a stoke last Sunday - he is 11 and I have had him since he was 6 weeks old. It is now looking like it may be some other kind of infection and ear / balance./ nauseau type thing but may take a long time to recover - if ever.... so I am are dosing him with steriods and antibiotics....

But my other reason for being silent is that Bill and I are separating and Connor and I move out next Saturday, the 8th.  It has been on the cards for a while - at least for me - but we are trying to make it easy for Connor and to keep him as unaffected as possible thoughout this process. We have been unable to tell Bill's Mom yet due to her heart surgery and recovery...

So I am in the midst of packing and repacking, working and of course the inevitable marital fighting. The reason I am leaving has nothing to do with my weight loss but I am sure others will say that was why. I have no control over that.

Once my move is over, I will be able to take part more on the boards as there will be way less stress very day. and I can get my routine to one I can manage easily.

So please pray that I am doing the right things for Connor and that I can protect him from any permenent scarring - so far he knows we are moving and seems okay with it - of course he is only 5 and doesn't understand...... he just wants to be with mommy.....

So next Saturday is move-out day - and as cheaply as I can do it - if anyone is at a loose end and wants to help me move please feel free to volunteer lol!!

Anyway just wanted to let you all know that is going on here......

Thanks so much for sharing what is going on in your life.  I pray your MIL will be stronger and that the Dr. will be able to help her.  I also pray for you, your husband and Conner in this difficult time of separation.  My daughter was not much older than Conner when my 1st husband and I separated.  It was the best thing for all of us, but I know it is a very difficult time.

Dear Jackie:

I know it is difficult now for everyone but believe me, it can be the best solution when there is no healing the marriage.  I know my children grew up into better people because I left my first husband.  And my 2nd husband (it will be 9 years on Saturday) is a wonderful man who is a real blessing from God.

It will work out fine.  Trust God.
