IT'S TOTALLY TUESDAY YA'LL!!!

Good am,

How are ya'll doing? How was your Monday? There was so much going on I am  not sure where to begin! I heart fast paced days! I got a tremendous amount of To Do List items done (even if it took me until almost 9:30 to get there). I feel some relief with a few things and still need to work on others. Got Kayla off to school and sat down briefly to have a cuppa. After that it was ON! I got some work out of the way, some pesky phone calls (I don't care for the phone; shocker I know as much as I heart writing), worked on a couple projects, got outside with Nora for a bit, cleaned MAJOR house (repeat again today), waited for 2 deliveries BOTH done in the rain, attempted an interesting soup at lunch (crab and NO I didn't eat it), tried a piece of authentic German bread, Cloroxed walls and down, swept, made beds and best of all LAUNDRY! I don't know why I heart cleaning so much but I do. Later in the night I got the buggas in jammies and in the bed. I got there close to 10.

What's on the books for your Tuesday? I'm going to get a few things done and I'm working on a project in which I HOPE to get completed and Lord willing it will happen. I'm reading an oldie but goodie. I picked this book up several years ago but it wasn't the "right time" and those of you *****ad know what I mean. Its called Sanity Savers by Dr. Dale Vicky Atkins. Ok, seriously I highly suggest ya'll pick it up. Local libraries carry it. Its in broken into little chapters which makes it easy to read and even lets you choose topics. Seriously its really a great read. I'm going to get a LOT done around here and really and truly hope that I can. I hope everyone has a GREAT Tuesday!

Prayers going out for everyone this am. I KNOW we all could use some. :)

Good morning sunshine, It sure is nippy outside this morning. Yesterday was good for me went to the gym for 2 hours came home did some laundry and vacumed the floors. Just sat around for the afternoon till the g/d came from school. Cooked supper helped with homework, showers then off to bed.

Tuesday I am going for my 4 mile walk once it gets a little warmer probably around 10. Then I have some suits that my hubby wants to take to a consignments shop, then come home and do some scrap booking for my friend in Pa. I need to go and get some yogurt from Krogers and pick up a few things at  wal-mart. You have a great day and thanks for keeping me in your prayers as I do you likewise. Happy Tuesday sunshine.
love ya,
Betty

Morning Ladies!

Packing is my life right now - There's so much to do before the move, and it just seems crazy to me that it's just 10 days away now!  I'm so looking forward to living near family again (it's been more than 15 years since I struck out on my own and away from all of my family) - I thank God that I have such an awesome job and great employers so I can work basically anywhere!

Of course, moving means that the powers that be want me to come in to the office (UGH DC Traffic!) a few times before I move, which totally screws up my packing plans, but that's ok, at least I'm not as self-concious about being around people anymore, so I won't have a hard time mentally with being there -

Nothing exciting today, just packing, packing, packing!  Everyone is in my thoughts and prayers today, as they are every day!

Rho

PS - Kat, I sure wish I loved cleaning as much as you do, I could use some of that energy about now!

Hope you get your packing done. I know its a pain in the bootie but you'll get there! Seems like unpacking is lots easier (to me) because you can "choose" a home for things little by little. You might consider throwing a pack and play get together. Invite over some friends/fam and have each person bring a dish and get them to help you pack and play a few games or something. Might help you out! I love the accomplished feeling that cleaning gives me. :)

Monday I was able to clean out my closet and pay bills. It's so nice to get rid of some clothes.

Today, more cleaning. I'm reading the Christmas Hope by Donn VanLiere. It is part of a series with The Christmas Shoes (you may have heard the song or seen the movie, The Christmas Blessing (movie) and The Christmas Promise.

Have fun today, Penny

I have read the ENTIRE Christmas series by Donna VanLiere! Her & I correspond and she's not putting another one out until next year. (BUMMER!) However, she's putting out another book I believe next month unrelated to the series. I'll find the title again and post it. Check out her site. Her name dot com. The Christmas Shoes is one of my FAVORITE songs as well! Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Good morning, beautiful!  How are things this beautiful, srisp and cold morning?  They are OK here...but I did not sleep too good last evening (again!).

Had to call into work yesterday for the first time in three years!  I felt horrible about it but I knew I needed to.  Got a call into the docs office and after a ton of back and forth calls...I was finally told to get to bed and stay there either on my side or with my legs propped up.  If the swelling were still there this AM then I needed to be in the office at 8 AM.  Well, thankfully it is gone and I sit here at work, for now anyway.  I have to check them every 30 minutes to see if any swelling is coming back and if so then it is off to St. Mary's I go!  Thanks to that...I had a pretty boring evening but did get to watch a movie (Mistaken Identity) and got some reading time in as well.

On the books is not much!  I am going to make it at work for as long as I can (praying for a full day!) and then home to kick my feet up.  Mentally, I feel horrible about doing that but I know it is something that I HAVE to do.  Steve is doing laundry for me then bringing it to me to fold and my dad and Kara are planning on cooking dinner.  They cleaning needs to be done but will hve to wait until I get better or at least until we find out 100% for sure what is going on.  I plan on getting in some more reading this evening and trying to find positions that are comfy and where one side of my body does not fall asleep!

Love you much!

I didn't sleep my best either last pm but I'm hanging in. Got too much to do to sleep!! I know you felt horrible about it and I wanna give you a lesson in listening but I know better. :P So, I'm gonna give you a few cyber hugs and remind you to tell Dr. T EVERYTHING Friday. She totally rawks! As for kicking your feet up trust me there are plenty of things you can do. Keep in mind though every hour get up and move around some. Also, know that bed rest might be a consistent thing so let me know when you're ready for some tips & tricks cause we both know I didn't listen 100% to that mess. But, I DID stay in 100% communication with Drs' S & T! PS now might be the time to get the body pillow!

Morning Beautiful!  Sounds like you sure are getting a lot done.  I am sure that makes you feel very accomplished.  My Monday was lovely.  Grueling meetings at work with the budget issues but we are working on plans to cut spending.  After work I hit dinner with my mom & stepdad, then it was home to my hubby who worked late, picking him up some carryout on my way.  Then we just vegged & I hit the bed early.

On the books for today is work.  I am dragging a bit and debating on heading home early.  Basically I am tired & got some sinus/cold symptoms.  Of course since hubby is home it is very tempting to join him.  But I think I should save my leave for a day I really need it.  Tonight we get the girlies and it should be a quiet night at home.  Hope you have a great one!  Love you much!
