Two weeks out!!!

   Today I am 2 weeks out from having a total knee replacement!!! Everything is going well, except the knee is not bending as well as it should be now. I have countless exercises to do, including riding a bike. Next week I see the surgeon, I hope to have a more flexibleknee.
   Today the staples came out...23 in all. The home health nurse will come one more time. Physical therapy will come two more times, before heading to outpatient PT.

I had surgery at Martha Jefferson.

I'm pleased with the progress. I am down 19 1/2 pounds since Sept. 29th and completely off diabetes medicine. Thanks for asking!
