Wow moment!!!!

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know I was in  total shock to find out that I am now in a size 8. going from a size 26/28 and reaching a size 8 in 8 months. The folks in N.C. couldn't believe there eyes when they saw me. One of my husbands uncles was a greeter at the church door who I have known  for the last 40 years said hello to me and asked me what was my name and who I was with. I told him who I was and I thought his mouth was going to drop to the floor. His wife walked right pass me and didn't know me. The preacher was my hubbys uncle and when he saw my hubby he wanted to know where was Betty and he said right here beside me, he couldnt believe his eyes, and his wife sat in front of me and when they had the handshaking and greeting she turned around to shake my hand and she asked me what my name was. I was the conversation at the lunch table with the cousins and famillies. What a great wow moment !!!!!

What a GREAT wow moment! I thought you were upset by the smiley you used. Glad you aren't. :)

The smiley is wrong I hit the wrong one thanks for letting me know. I was just excited I didn't pay attention to what I hit.

What an AWESOME WOW moment!!!!  I had a realization this morning on my drive to work that I am really doing this and the weight is really coming off.  Your moment is really an inspiration.  I can't wait until people don't recognize me!!!!

That is wonderful!  I am very happy for you.  I knew you were at least an 8...maybe even a 6 in some things.  You are really tiny and should be very proud!  You look amazing.  I love it when people don't even know who you are.  I remember one year at Thanksgiving (where my entire family gets together) my MOM asked my brother who that skinny girl was standing next to so and so.  He said...ummm...that's your daughter!  When I heard that I was so estatic.  I live right next door to my mom and she still didn't recognize me!  Remember to relish these moments.  They are great memories for a long time to come!

Thanks Tammy you look good also. I know I am not a 6 and I am happy to be at an 8 for awhile. I already told  my family gift cards this year for  Christmas as I need clothes more than anything else. Have a great day.
