Update on my appointment...

Had a mammogram and u/s yesterday.  DAMN you have to be a contortion artist to get your tatas squished.  Things looked though!  So that was good news.  Then I had my surgeon appointment.  He said that the lump is a cyst.  It is right under my skin and if it was a lymph node it would be deeper.  he is putting me on an anti-biotic for 10 days and wants me to come back in a month. But he is not concerned about it.  What was interesting is he used to be a bariatric surgeon!  His name is Dr Buras.  He is very nice and great bedside manners.  The nurse told me after he left the room.  She said that was why he was quizzing me on my vitamin, protein intake and my exercising.  He told me he will call me if the result of the mammogram or u/s show anything to be worried about.

Hi Melissa! Sounds like overall, it was a good appointment. I will be praying that there are no abnormalities with either test! Thanks for the warnings on the mammogram. My ob/gyn is wanting me to go for one after the first of the year and actually, it is making me nervous, lol! Hope all is well!

thank goodness!!  Just keep an eye on it and hopefully the antibiotics will make that cyst go away.  I know this must have been scary for you.  Big hugs!!

Hi Melissa - I am so glad that everything went well and you have such a huge weight off of your mind. I think it is easier to get a mamogram when your tatas have lost weight like mine had as they were all squished anyway.... I am now scared to get them with my implants lol!!

Hi Melissa   I am so glad that everything was ok with your mamogram, I hate getting it done also, I had 13 cyst removed from my left breast a year ago and I have another mamogram coming up soon which I dread since I lost the weight. Why do women have to go through so much. I think all men should have to have their tatas pinched and squashed too  when they have there yearly . physicals.   I will pray that your cyst goes away with the meds he gave you.
