support group in manassas?

i am a support group leader in maryland and one of our members will be moving to manassas soon.  she lives in alexandria right now and having her surgery in january.  do you know of any support groups close that she may attend NOW?

I know there are several up there (I am in Richmond) but I am not sure when or where they meet.  There is one run by Jackie Thodos from the VA board in Stafford and there is the Staple Club that is at one of the hospitals up there.  I am sure someone will respond with the days and times!

Thanks, Kay and you are welcome.  I had actually gained about 8 pounds in this picture and am now up some more.  I am 16 weeks pregnant, due on 04-07-09.  I am just praying that I can (and will) get all of the pregnancy weight gain off after the baby is born!

There is one at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital on the 3rd Monday of every month from 630-800.

The Staple Club meets in Chantilly, which is near Manassas (right up 28 or 29, depending on where she is in Manassas).

We do run a Support Group in Fredericksburg but that might be too far for her to go. We also run a telephonic one on the last Monday of the month....

However Dr Halmi runs one in Potomac Hospital Education Center, Woodbridge on the 1st Thursday of each month. Here is his web link.....  http://www.vwlsc.com/index.php
