spent 9 hrs in ER

I spent my night in the Emergency Room with I think everyone else in 4 cities. It took me 9 hrs and 24 mins from signing in to walking out. I am so pissed. How do people build a state of the art hospital with all the bells and whistles and only have 1 doctor in the ER on a weekend? Anyways I am ok I have an infection but got antibiotics to fix me right up. Just wanted to share... this is why I usually refuse to go to ER unless I am dying or close to enough to dead. It's now 6am and I havent eaten anything since 2pm yesterday so I'm finishing up my jello and going to bed.

Sorry that you had to go through that. I hope that you get better. I will keep you in my prayers and throughts. Is the infection in one of the incesion sites? At least you got the antibotics now and should get better. Please let us know how you are doing.

I am so sorry you had to wait so long. At least you got what you needed and can start taking meds right away so it does not get any worse. Hopefully you will be able to have a restful sleep. Hope your feeling better very soon!

I am sorry you had to experienc that. That is also why I hate ERs as well. I hope the infection clears up and you start feeling better.

Sorry you had to wait so long but look at the bright side...if you had have been seen sooner then you would have had to be REALLY sick. This is easy to fix now that you have the meds! Feel better soon.
