Lost over 200 pounds
Not skinny by any means but happy by all means :)
Congrats on your surgery results thus far. I am excited for the progress that you have made.
Try and remember that what your surgeon goes by is an estimate of total body fat. I was told I would be good to get to 200. Well, I got down to 139 before getting pregnant. It is all in what you do. You have the power...vitamins+protein+water+exercise = weightlooss! You are in control. I wish you luck and I am here if you need anything.

But you are doing just GREAT!!! Congratulations!

Thankful for the easy, grateful for the hard & hopeful for tomorrow.
Congratulations on being a year out!
I'm going to back Tammy up here.... when I had surgery, my "goal weight" was 210. I blew that out of the water, and then all of the sudden, my "goal" was 155. Sure. Since that point, I really haven't put a whole lot of stock in the surgeon's "goal" weight. I'm almost positive that if I were to go in there at 154, he'd make me a "new" goal of 150.
So his goal is 155, and I stick around 160-165. Good enough for me.
I am positive that as long as you do as you're supposed to do, you'll far surpass your surgeons goal as well.
Also, if you have been taking photos regularly, keep it up now. I found that while I DID change a whole lot between years 0 and 1, it was between years 1 and 2 that I just CHANGED (esp. facial features). I guess it's something about the weight redistributing or something, but I wish I had taken more photos during that time.
Best of luck for another great year!
