Life could not get any better than this!
There are also the:
- Adkin Advantage bars (not the exotic treats!!!) 11-14 gms of protein 160 calories ($4.96 for 5)
- Pure Protein bars 17-20 gm of protein 160-180 calories ($6.27 for 6)
- Body Fortress vanilla or chocolate Whey Protein Isolate powder for $12.97
I also get my vitamins and supplements there because of the price and they have everything I now use in one place (except the children's aspirin on another aisle).
I use mostly generics. I also use the One Source Prenatal multivitamins with 28mg or mcg (whatever it is) of iron (instead of the standard 18 in most). I have iron deficiencies; I actually was prescribed to take 2 prenatals daily by my surgeon nutristionist based on my blood work and they seem to work.
Yep, I'm freakin out inwardly but trying to keep it together outwardly. I ran out of my trifold door-to-door brochures and wound up buying a duplex capable printer to produce them myself for what copy places charged to do the work, and now I'll have it for future use as well. It just hits me right in the wallet.
My jogging has suffered greatly from the time to do my campaign phone calls, yard signs, and door-to-door stuff. I am coordinating poll workers as my lastest undertaking. I hate asking people to do stuff for me,....I just hate it.
Maybe after elections, I can get back in the loop with folks. I miss the joisting and joking around ansd visiting.
I have actually gained a couple of more pounds since the jogging stopped. I guess burning those calories are significant even though I am still pretty much on a protein rich meal plan. I have leveled off at 250-252. I was 238 when running daily. So that hurts but I am still wearing the same size pants,...so far.
You look great. Your husband get you a body guard, taser, and/or a homing device yet?
Joe
Thanks for the chuckle...no, to my knowledge, none of those. But I appreciate the comment...cracked me up. We are celebrating our 25th next week, so I guess he figures at this point, no worries! ;)
You sound so busy -- wow. I wish you all of the best with it, and I can tell you that if I were there, you'd definitely have my vote! You're going to do great, I know it. Please fill me in, post November 4!
With all of that walking, etc., I am sure you are burning calories non-stop. It's tough not being able to keep up our routines, isn't it? I haven't been able to work out like I usually do these last few weeks, and boy do I need to get back to it. I am working with a personal trainer on Monday at a new gym, so I am hoping that will really get me back into it. Hang in there...the craziness is almost over and you can get back to your running. It sounds like you are really staying with the program, and that is great...with all that you have going on, it would be easy not to! Congrats!
Keep in touch! :)
