Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Great I hope. How was your weekend? Ours was part jam packed and part relaxing. Got quite a bit done in the way of house and yard work. Had a really yummy breakfast on Sat am made up of homemade biscuits and corn beef gravy. It was my splurge meal of the week. :) Spent time with the buggas which was much needed. Watched one movie and have almost finished reading my latest book "Sugar Queen." I think its a really great read. Mainly kept to myself and the buggas and didn't branch out much. Seems like things were a lot smoother that way so that means it was needed for sure. The weather was gorgeous and our blessings are many.

What's on the books for your Monday? Today is back to school for Kayla since being off Thurs & Fri. She's not going to be THAT thrilled when I wake her up in a few minutes. Got some work to get out of the way and am going to really move through some things to ensure I'm freed up to finish reading. I haven't wanted to put my book down! I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!

Good morning, beautiful!  Welcome to this fabulous Monday morning!

This weekend was really jam packed for me for sure.  Friday evening was part busy and part relaxing.  Got a few errands done and then relaxed with Steve before turning in early.  I got him and Kara up to go to work then snuggled back in to bed myself and slept really well.

Saturday was nice as well.  Got up early and went for my walk.  Came back and made breakfast for everyone and got them all up and we got ready for the dentist.  That was an awesome trip.  I absolutely LOVE going to the dentist...would go weekly if insurance would pay for it!  We came home and Steve and my dad went to Buckingham to do some work at the hunting cabin and Kara and I got busy on some things.  We did some house cleaning and then went to work some in the afternoon.  After that I picked up Adam and brought him over for a bit.  We had a nice dinner, just the three of us, then settled in for a movie.  Dad and Steve got home about 9ish.

Sunday was a bit more "off".  I ended up having to leave at 5 AM to go and help Steve work.  Kara had gotten sick so we brought her home then I went to help.  I was in a lot of pain when I got home so I took some Tylenol and went back to bed.  I got up around 12, still not feeling great,  and Kara and I got down to buisness on things that needed to be done.  We went to WalMart for groceries.  Wouldn't you know I forgot the ONE thing I went there for.  Yep, I forgot my EAS shakes!  Good thing I have to go back todya for billing!  I will pick some up then.  We got home and started dinner.  Steve grilled some steaks and Kara and I did the veggies and cleaned the kitchen.  I got a few loads of laundry done and went to meet a Craigs List acquaintiance.  She gave me about $200.00 worth of unisex infant clothing!  It is onesies, sleepers, gowns, hats, socks, mittens and a bath robe.  They are adorable!  Now I have to get some baby detergent and get them washed and put away.  Actually...I will probably just wash them regular and then rewash them early next year.  It is too early to be hanging them up!  She also gave me a pack and play for the baby sitters house, too!  It is a nice one with the bassinet and changing pad included with it.

On the books for today is much of the usual.  I started off the morning billing and got to work on time.  I am getting off from work a bit early to have a meeting at Kara's school.  After that I will finish the billing and hopefully make it home at a decent time.  I am not feeling 100% today.  It almost feels like a sinus infection or massive cold is approaching.

Glad you got to spend time with the buggas.  I know I treasure every minute I get to spend with Kara and this weekend was awesome.

We need to get together for a cuppa this week.  It is time to catch up!

Love you!

Good Morning Ladies,
Sorry to hear you are under the weather Tammy. Hopefully it passes soon. Pretty quiet weekend here. I am not feeling so great, but know I will some day. lol. I go back to work tomorrow and am very nervous. Should I bring my trash can with me for when I get sick, or try to run as fast as I can to the nearest bathroom which is far away. Opinions please. I don't want people to get a bad taste in their mouth about gastric bypass, because it saved my life. I am so sick all the time though. I saw my mom on Saturday and really upset her. She calls everyday and asks how I am doing and I give the generic "I am ok" to her, but she saw how sick I really am. I just don't want her to worry. UGH.
Today Alex gets out of school early, so we will be heading to the park and to bed early to prepare for tomorrow. I am so nervous!

Don't be nervous, Brooke!  You CAN do this!  I always kept small plastic bags with me...just in case...but have always tried (and thankfully succeeded) in making it to the bathroom.  I know what you mean...I was sick for a bit myself.  Just before returning to work and then again several weeks after I returned full time.  It will all work out.
I think I am feeling "off" because I am a bit tired.  Hopefully I will be able to get to bed early this evening and feel 100% tomorrow!
Have fun at the park (wish I were there!) and get some rest tonight.  Update when you can as to how things go tomorrow!

Good morning sushine,
My weekend was very nice the grandchildren went home for for the weekend .  Saturday hubby and I washed the car and waxed it which it needed badly then he washed the motorcycle and wax it. Enjoyed a 3 mile walk with hubby enjoying the outdoors and the beauty of God's creation.
Sunday off to church then came home and enjoyed a relax afternoon, watching a little football and just hanging out. The grandchildren and mom and dad took the kids to Bush Gardens till 10 at night and when they got to our house they were exhausted but said they had a great time. Got them ready for bed and we all settled down for a good night sleep.

Monday, Get the grandchildren off to school and then hubby and I hit the gym Ballys. We are going to go for a walk this afternoon and enjoy the fresh air . Not much on the books for tonight just sit and watch the tv then hit the bed around 8:30.
I will continue to pray for ya all.  Love ya all,
Tomygirl
