THANK GOODNESS IT'S FRIDAY YA'LL!!

Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Lovely I hope. How was your Thursday? Ours was about as jam packed as a race. I finished painting the trim in our bathroom and put up my new butterfly shower curtain. I've still got a few things to get to put in there including a butterfly picture and few other things. It will come together. We painted the trim in the buggas room and got their new beds set up and even put up a neat coat/sweater hanger on their wall. Still more decorating to do but its coming along. I managed to do 8 loads of laundry and am back on the job this am. I cleaned up/out 3 rooms of the house and still have more work to do.

This entire week has been an emotional roller coaster one in which I didn't expect and haven't done too well at coping with and so I pray today is still productive but a lot less in the way of storms and drama. I admit I've not eaten well at all and I haven't been sleeping but about a couple hours if I've slept each night at all. So, my body is fussing and I'm getting back to living life again in the healthiest ways. Some other posts here recently along with support off the OH boards have inspired me to change my outlook about what I've been dealing with. I'm going to get back to using the tool I've been blessed with. The 2 things I'm most grateful for are understanding and encouragement this am. At the top of my list is eating a good breakfast and carrying through with good choices throughout the rest of the day. Like my sobriety I have to take things day by day and cannot expect everything to happen over night. Life's funny like that especially when God puts in His funny lil' sense of humor.

What's on the books for your Friday & weekend? Today I've got a LONG To Do List and am getting started on it in just a bit. Tonight will be relaxing I hope with little to nothing to do. This weekend I'm going to be cleaning up/out my bedroom so that I can get it ready to be painted. I've got several things I'm going to be parting ways with which is exciting actually. I'm also planning to get in some reading time. I want to lay like broccoli but I don't imagine that will happen. I do need it to be a low key uneventful weekend for the most part. Got to regain some sanity back.

For those attending the conference this weekend: I hope you thoroughly enjoy yourselves, drive safe, enjoy the walk this pm & cuppa followed by the conference and its GREAT MC Jackie Thodos. I hope everyone gets to know someone they didn't know before and builds a support system. Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Friday & weekend. All best!

Good Morning Sunshine......

WOW!  Sopunds like you Do have a jam packed day ahead of you.  Make to get some rest.

You've had a tough week, but I am SO proud of you for getting focused.  It's so hard to do, and it's often easier to just throw in the towel or to let other things take our focus.  You have such great resolve and will do fine.....just take it one day at a time.

Let's see, I'm off today - YEAH!!!!  I am planning a low key weekend after the hectic weekends I've been having the past few months.  I plan to do lots of scrapbooking, get in my workouts and even do a ride on the motorcycle with hubby.  Today I need to run to the grocery store, but that will be the highlight of my day.

Plus, I just bought a new book and am anxious to dive into it.

Enjoy your day!!!!!

Hey doll!

Yes, my day is moving right along and I'm stoked about it. "I'll get all the sleep I need when I'm dead" says Sam Elliott in Road House. I'll make the time just on a roll and need to get through things. In addition, to writing/journaling my way of dealing with the storms is to push through projects I've been needing to get through anyway. Nothing like some anger turned into productively getting through laundry, painting, etc.

Thanks focused because whether or not I'm "replying/posting" I'm still here and I always find inspiration, support and commonality with ya'll. Its been hard but I'm managing thanks to you and other folks. One day at a time is all I can give. :)

Hope your weekend is low key and quite enjoyable. Enjoy the rides its going to be absolutely GORGEOUS around here this weekend. 78 & 77 Sat/Sun. Lots of sunshine. :)

Enjoy some reading too.

Hiya Court!

I'm getting the list tackled that's for sure. I am excited with the physical changes happening around me to the house and its helping me put old memories to rest as well as bringing out good ones. Lots to say and so you'll be getting an email soon.

Your weekend sounds nice. We haven't been to Harper's Ferry in a while. I bet it'll be beautiful. The leaves are starting to fall here and watching them has been something very enjoyable. Enjoy Charleston as well. Prayers coming your way for a buyer to snatch up the condo.

Good morning, beautiful!  How are you today?  Hope things are getting better for you by each passing minute.

Yesterday was very blah for me.  Wednesday night, just as we were getting ready for bed, the ho****er decided to bust.  We had water coming from everywhere.  The ho****er heater sits in the closet upstairs but we are using that room as an attic (but not for much longer) and wouldn't you know it...the closet is all the way in the back corner!  Steve got to it and got it all turned off and then the clean up started.  He finished draining the old one yesterday and put a new one in and then the emergency shut off valve broke so he is at Home Depot right now buying a new one so that we will have ho****er again.  Thank God for the gym at my work so I can take showers each day!  I have just been coming in early.

Last evening I had the pleasure of meeting Penny for dinner!  She is in town for a conference for work.  I picked her up at her hotel and it was off to a favorite mexican resturant.  Lauren met us there and Steve and Kara joined us a bit later.  We had a lot of good convos, laughs and good times.  It was great to finally meet Penny.  I look forward to seeing her again!

I really am hoping and praying for a low key day today, but I am not banking on it!  I will be here at wor****il 5 then it is home to either catch up on laundry or make a run to the laundromat if Steve is not done yet.  After that I would love to curl up on the sofa and watch a movie but I really need to go to bed so I can help Steve tonight.  I will probably drive seperate and just put them together and let him do the delivering but we will see.

Tomorrow is a trip to the dentist for Steve, Kara and I then Steve and my dad will be going to Buckingham (Kara may go with them...not sure yet) and I am staying home for a bit of peace and quiet.  I have some cleaning I want to do and some rearranging in the house as well.  We are going to swap some bedrooms around and do some painting, too.  Well...Steve is going to do it and I am going to "supervise" and tell him where I want things and what colors I want them to be!

Sunday is up in the air at this point.  I would love to do some more cleaning and such but I don't really see that happening.  I have to go and get returns and my cousin is having a baby shower Sunday afternoon so we will see what happens.

In any event, I wish you all a happy, safe and blessed weekend.  For those going to the conference...have a great time!

Hey Tammy!

I'm better with things. Had a talk with the man upstairs. Got some things out and really got some out of no where revelations, support and love. Well, not totally out of no where but unexpected is a better term.

Hope the water damage isn't too bad. Things will come together. :)

Glad dinner was nice. Sorry I missed it for some reasons but I needed the night to myself and that worked out for the best. Got a lot accomplished and crashed hard.

Good morning. Haven't posted here in a while but after reading your post... You have given me inspiration to not be so lazy today so with that, I am sitting here thinking of my to-do list.

First thing I have to get done is to try my absolute best to allergy proof this house as much as possible. Now that we know what is hurting Cameron, I have to take care of it. He's a bit depressed because he really wanted a puppy for Christmas but with him being allergic, it isn't going to be a good idea. I want to clean my bathroom so that I can re-do it. Not sure what color or theme I want to go with it but the mint green has to go for now! Goodwill will be liking me today as I am getting rid of anything that I can not immediately think of a place for. No sense in keeping around things that have no place.

Tomorrow, Cameron has a baseball game and then we are back home to taking care of more cleaning and sorting. And Sunday, we are off to a picnic at the park. Hopefully the weather won't let us down!!

Hope everything is great with the buggas and yourself. Keep posting about how busy you're staying so you can keep motivating all of us that try to not be busy. Nothing like an inconspicuous kick in the butt! Have a great weekend!
