10 hours :)

Well the anesthesiologist called and after I answered a million questions he said everything was set for tomorrow. He was super nice and ask a great question. I hadn't thought about it, but he asked what I like to be called. He said he would be the one with me when I woke up and he needed the name I use cuz I would be groggy and possibly confused. My legal name is Christine, but I've always been called Christy. I'm glad he asked :)

The Nurse called also and told me not to eat past midnight, dress comfortable, no perfume, no lotions..etc... also wanted to make sure I brought in a urine sample for a pregnancy test.. LOL I wish they would actually READ the chart first as I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago.


I'm just a bit nervous...not as much as I thought I would be in fact I think I'll sleep well tonight..I hope so anyway. I have a small suitcase packed and I'm ready for tomorrow. I'm looking forward to my new life as the mom who plays WITH her kids instead of watching them play.

Thanks for all of your help...I know I've asked a ton of questions and everyone has been extremely helpful.

I'll post as soon as I can..prolly sometime on Friday.

Oh your new life is about to begin. I am very far from goal but have already enjoyed a more active lifestyle with my son. Tonight we walked a mile to the playground and then we were on the swingset together. This is the first time in his 7 years I was able to do this with him. It was awesome. good luck with tomorrow. Will be praying for you.
