ACK!!! I'm on the upcoming surgeries list!!!
I've got this huge Vitamin reminder tray with all my stuff organized for after surgery. I've got Centrum Chewables (multi vits), Calcium Citrate Wafers, Biotin, Zinc, B12, Iron, Vitamin C, and vitamin D. Some of those I take 2-3 times a day..yikes!
Taking pills is new to me as other then obesity i've been healthy. In january my older brother was diagnosed with Diabetes and my father is also diabetic so I decided I wanted to do something before any of that happened to me. It seems like only a matter of time. I was greatful when my preop labs came bad great and no pre-diabetes as so many find out they have it just ebfore surgery.
I already know my 3 roomates for my stay at the hospital. Three lovely ladies and I'm the youngest...LOL not by much...I turned 31 on Friday.
So everything is set and now I have 10 loads of laundry to finish today...YUCK!!!
I am srue you are going to do wonderfully!! We are all here behind you and it is good that you are taking charge of your health before it takes charge of you - so you will have a very healthy outcome and will avoid diabetes! Woohoo!!
And it is great that you know your roomates - you will have company so you can all help each other get up and walk walk walk...
We are all routing for you.... and ready to welcome you to the losing bench!! Hang on for the ride of your life!!!

Life could not get any better than this!
You are doing GREAT!!!! Keep up the good work and the awesome attitude. Your surgery is almost here and before you know it you will be through the surgery and on your way. I hit one month post-op yesterday and while I don't fully see the results, I have had so many people come up to me and say they can see a difference, if not in my weight then in my attitude and the my overall being. The vitamins are extremely important and I think they contribute to this new me everyone is seeing!!!
Good luck, I will be praying for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
