Hi,

My husband Keith's aunt had the wls surgery about 3 yrs ago. she has has gone from 300lbs to 130lbs and is about 5'11. She is doing really bad and has been since the begining. She throws up everything she eats. they have checked her for a stricture among other things and cant find any thing wrong with her. She lives in Tenn and has been to speacilist in Nashville and they recommended a physcologist. She is nearly on her death bed and rarley even gets out of bed.She is also having alot of migranes. Which i think is from not eating. She is very depressed.
Can any of you all help. May be this has happened to you or someone you know. Maybe you can shed some light on this. She has little kids and is only 39 yrs.

Thank you all for your help in advance!!!

Hugs, Holly and Keith

Hi Holly,
Sorry to hear about your husbands aunt, I never had this happen to me I am 71/2 months out so I can help you with this, but I can keep her in prayer that God will step in and show the Drs. just what is wrong. Our minds plays tricks on us and maybe her going to a psychologist might help, as you stated the specialist in Nashville said.  Keep us posted and thank you for posting.
Prayerfully,
Tomygirl

Hi there! I am only 3 months out but have been sick for the last couple months and I don't have a stricture either. Why the hell haven't they put a feeding tube in her? I have had one and it got put in my old stomach so I could not vomit it out. It has been my life line. I put diabetic boost and liquid vitamins in it. Check it out and let me know what happens.

I throw up daily and have since surgery.  Mine is from sinus drainage.  Try using a sinus rinse and getting zofran...the kind that dissolves under your tounge.  These have helped me tremendously.  Other than that...inquire about a feeding tube.  Hope she gets better soon.

If they've suggested a psychologist maybe they think it's bulimia? Either way she needs to get some help to keep food down...via a feeding tube or through supervision to make sure she's not psyching herself out.

Sorry to hear you're family is going through this though...
