TGIF!!!
How was your Thursday? Ours was jammed packed and exciting! Work was really busy and we had a very productive meeting where some great thoughts came out. After that I had 5 different people to meet to see some items from Craigslist. Well...I got EVERYTHING that I went to view...all for $35.00!!! Two of the items were bigger items that are quite expensive when purchased new. This was from a family that is stopping after one child but bougt new because they thought they were having several. After that, it was finishing Kara's homework. She had to "interview" one of her parents about their childhood and as she put it..."Mom...I know all about YOUR childhood...I want to interview DAD!"...so off to the living room they went to get it all accomplished. We were in bed by 9:15 and out like a light by 9:30. I actually slept pretty good for the first time all week.
No huge plans for today. Much the same as yesterday. Work then meeting three or four folks from Craigslist. After that it is early to bed so I can try and help Steve at work.
Saturday is full of yardsales! Whoo Hoo! i can't wait. I love to find me some good deals! Sunday is a trip to the mountains for a picnic and some fall photo's of family and friends and hopefully some apple pickin and definately some applebutter for my dad. It is one of his favs!
Hope you all have a faboulous weekend!
What are your plans? Hope you get to do something spifferric and really enjoy this crisp fall weather!

My day was pretty good yesterday!! Did my half a day at work, still feeling a bit overwhelmed but discussed it with my boss. Also discussed a possiblity of a promotion. We shall see what becomes of that. Took the afternoon off to meet with the lawyer on my speeding ticket. We discussed the incident, discussed our game plan, have a couple of things I need to do & we will go from there. Got our girlies & had a nice evening. Ran a few errands & then home for dinner & bed.
Busy weekend planned here. Tonight is football game for the girlies, one is going to a sleep over the other will come home with us. Early morning trip to get soccer pictures taken & then a game. Then we are off to my dads for "camping" in the backyard & a bday celebration for my stepmom. Who knows what else will happen in between all that.
Have a great day & a wonderful weekend!!!!
Good monrning, beautiful! I think Kat is enjoying a much needed and well deserved break. I miss her posts but know she needs the time, too.
The deals are awesome! Steve keeps saying I am buying too early but I get while the gettin's good whenever possible!
Lucky you for a half day but sorry you had use it to meet with a lawyer! Hopefully it will all work out for you in the end.
Sounds like you will be having a very fun weekend. We all love camping and doing it in the back yard is just as fun. Maybe next year when we go back to Fredericksburg for camping you all can join us! We can make a day or a weekend out of it.
Hope you have a wonderfull day and weekend!

Sounds like you are getting some good bargains on the baby things. Yard selling sounds like fun, esp. if you find things that you are looking for. Having a picnic in the mts. sounds like fun. Have a good time.
My yesterday was a normal day, went ran some errands, grocery store for a few items then back proping my foot up. The gout is clearing up but still have some pain but not as severe as it was. Got a call from my doctor which said I needed more calcium and Vitamin D, so I added them to the other vitamins that I am taking.
As for today, I am going to the post office and then come home and clean. If I don't soon dust I am going to open my house up for Halloween and scare the folks with the dust traps. I want to wash my windows and do some major house cleaning.
Tomorrow my granddaughters all 3 of them have ball games so we will spend most of the morning there, then hubby and I are going to take the motorcycle out for a ride an end up in N. C. for the afternoon then head back to Va. for a relaxing night.
You have a great weekend which sounds like lots of fun.
love and prayers,
Tomygirl
A motorcycle ride sounds wonderful! Have a great time.
Enjoy the ball games. Looks like the weather will be grand.
Glad the gout is feeling better. My dad gets it occassionally and it is horrible!
Enjoy your day and weekend!

Life could not get any better than this!
Good morning ladies,
Thursday was jam packed. After I got Alex ready for school and dropped him off I came home and went on a one mile walk. Came home very sick but ended up doing 4 loads of laundry and cleaning up the house. Picked Alex up from school and had to go to Ntelos to get my hubby a new cell phone, then took Alex to McDonalds for dinner and off to Cub Scouts meeting to plan the camping trip this weekend. Came home and we walked one mile as a family, which was alot of fun and then home so Alex could complete homework and shower.
So for today my hubby is off so we are decorating for Halloween outside(will have to post a pic latter- we really do it up outside) Takes him about 4 hours to get it all done! Then we need to pack for the camping trip this weekend with the Cub Scouts. My husband and him will be going at 6 today. I will meet up with them tomorrow at the Boy Scout Olympics. They run from 9am-8pm. So will be a very long, but fun day. Sunday we have plans to hit up Kings Dominion if I am up for it. So a jam packed weekend as well.
I should be heading back to work Wednsday to work 1/2 days! I want to get out of the house so hopefully I will feel well enough to do so.

And one bean on the way. EDD 6/22/11
Sorry you were a bit sick yesterday but kudos for pushing thru and getting the chores done. I tend to do the same thing when I am sick, too. Somehow it usually helps me to feel better when I accomplish things!
Have fun on the camping trip/olympics bit. I know it will be a long and tiring day but very rewarding for you to be involved.
KD sounds awesome! We have passes to Busch Gardens for this year and next and then we are changing up to KD for the following year. I love going for the halloween things.
Can't wait to see a pic of your house decorations. We don'd do much but my sister really does it up right next door. We help her. We did it huge one year and had a blast!

This weekend will be busy with cleaning and enjoying the Fall weather. Saturday, will find me ushering at the UVA Football game. Shopped at our local market for apples, squash and cider. The folks at the group home love this, too. One more week of work before going under the knife.
Lots of scrambling to get things out of the way before Oct.13th. Peace to all...Cindy
