Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Wonderful I hope. How was your weekend? Holy smoly! There was so much going on and I'm excited about it still. Fri pm was spiffy. Chatted, had good eats and well ate bad admittedly but had such a great time.

Saturday was jam packed. In the early am we got some things straight around the house and then got painting and more fun times underway. Got to experience something new which wasn't too bad when you put humor to it. Sat pm we rawed out to BKsD who were a little shaky to start but finished much better. Had such a blast we were laughing and cutting up and carrying on as the crowd grew bigger and we saw enough to last us for a bit longer. It was HYSTERICAL at points.

Sun was thought to be a bum day. SO NOT! I was up at the crack of dawn after getting to bed after 3 am and we tore through the house cleaning like we had nothing better to do. By the time it was said and done we have 7 bags of so of trash, 2 1/2 bags of clothes, I found things I'd forgotten about that I really miss & love (since moving its been boxed up and stashed really) and I found barbies for the girls in which we found the clothes for almost a month ago. LOL! Ohhhh the best part for me is we found my handmade baby quilt! 31 years old and its still in great shape. Think I'll consider making a few more of them now that I grew up doing it and lots of people are preggers around me right now too. We were non-stop until 6:30 or so. Then we took breaks, ate a nice dinner and the buggas were in the bed and out by 8. I was out by about 9:45 pm.

What's on the books for your Monday? This day is a bit sporadic in nature. I know there will be some work to get done, chores, walk, more papers to go through and we'll see from there. I'm embracing this day with an open mind and heart. Seeing what the Lord brings my way. Hope ya'll have the BEST Monday you can! :)

PS DONT FORGET: the call in with Jackie & Sue tonight! See Jackie's post!

Good morning, beautiful!  This weekend was pretty darn good for me, too.

Friday was awesome.  Had some good times and good convos and dinenr with friends and got some work started.

Slept a little late Saturday AM and really enjoyed/needed that.  Steve went to work alone and as he got home one of our newer neighbors (teen that moved in with grandma and grandpa a block away) and his friends were going up the street really fast (at least 70 MPH) so he called the police.  A couple of minutes later we heard the crash and then the sirens...one of the cars had not been able to make a turn and crashed into the church a few blocks from our houses.  No one was hurt but they fled the scene so Steve was asked by the police to identify the driver and that took a good hour at least.  After that he slept for a bit while I did some laundry and cleaning.  Then we went over to a friends to help with some work and had a great dinner.  After that it was off to see BK'sD rawk out!  Like you said...it was good times.  Off to a shaky start but really got good for a bit there.  The laughs we had and the sights we saw were absolutely priceless.

Sunday was pretty darn good, too.  I got home about 7:30 am and went to bed for a couple of hours.  Got up and went to get returns and made a stop at Wal Mart.  I had to pick up a birthday present for a friends sons party and while I was there I went ahead and got a few other needed items and browsed thru the baby department.  I couldn't help myself!  After that I went home and wrapped the present and then it was off to Dayton's third birthday party.  We had a pretty good time and really enjoyed the time with friends.  I was given two large bags of materniny clothes that are awesome.  I also met with two people from Craigslist and got a bouncy seat and a bassinet for Frogger.  I made Kara's favorite dinner (chicken and dumplings) and got my paperwork straight for today.

I was up extra early today for some reason.  I got everything finished that I needed to and got to work early, too.  I have some more to finish tonight but it should not be too bad, hopefully.  If I get home early enough then I will be moving some things and trashing some other things in preparation of setting up the crib.  I am definately feeling that nesting syndrome and am ready to get all set up!

Thanks so much!  Kat took it when we were at Melinda's wedding and I loved it!  You can see my tummy getting bigger but this is one time that I don't mind!

Good Morning, Katters and all.

I had a very off and on weekend. I was very excited on Friday because Reggie was coming back home. He was/is working out of state during the week and it sucks! I wanted to stay home and just lay on the cloud all weekend, but I had to keep up the routine! We got the usual coffee, meeting, and out to dinner with our Peeps. Got home around 11ish and stayed up very late catching up, haha.

Saturday I wanted to sleep in but my body wouldn't allow that.  We spent a lot of Saturday just catching up on the TiVO, I was running out of room. The Clemson game was on at 12:00 and we had an Autism social at FACT for Brenden at 2:00pm. We grabbed some groceries, Reg was cooking for us. YUMMO. We decided to skip the Saturday meeting and sent up camp at home. It was a nice night of relaxation.

Sunday, I had to get up because I was making a new recipe that I found on Rachael Ray. It's Cornbread-topped Bourbon BBQ Chicken, minus the bourbon of course. It took over an hour to prep and 45 minutes to cook, but well worth it. It was a hit at the BBQ. We went over to S & J's for our usual weekly football BBQ and then went to see Eagle Eye at the Mall. Big mistake. I didn't think it would be that packed on a Sunday during the Neptune Festival. We had to sit in that very first row which ended up making me sick and I listened to most of the movie.

Overall it was nice, today is back to business. Reg left for NC this morning and won't be back til Friday :(  I do have a volleyball game tonight after work, that will keep me busy for a day or so. Work is sucking because its slow and I was going to work late so I didn't have to drive home to turn around and drive back here, but I doubt I will find anything to do!

Hope your Monday goes well! LYLT,
A

Morning Beautiful!  Glad to hear that your weekend was enjoyable!  Sounds like lots of fun.  I wish sometimes that I had your energy!!

My weekend was pretty good.  Friday night hubby & I stayed in and just relaxed.  Saturday I got up and went to brunch with a friend  & really enjoyed that time to myself.  Then it was an afternoon of relaxing & working on a special project/gift for my hubby.  Saturday evening it was off to my sisters for her candle party.  Sunday I was up really early, I guess I must have slept pretty well on Saturday & didn't need anymore.  Had some quality time with hubby before we went our seperate ways for the afternoon.  He went to soccer & I went to my neices bday party.    Then it was home to watch the Skins game & relax.  Our "sons" were over & our oldest came home with her daddy.  Did laundry, ordered in a pizza and relaxed.

I am thinking that a sinus infection has also invaded my system or tried.  I am working on fighting it out.  On lots of meds to combat these issues and feeling yucky.    Hoping that I start feeling better soon.

I have a request from all please.  Send postive thoughts, prayers, vibes, etc. to my girlies.  They are going through a super rough time at their mom's house.  Mentally/emotionally they are really struggling.  We are doing our best to understand and be supportive but realize that things are really tough for them right now.

Good morning sunshine, Saturday I put my shoes on and limped to car and went to see my granddaughters play their baseball games. I could only stay for about 30 minutes as this darn gout in my foot was hurting to bad. So off I went home with hubby and just layed around doing nothing.
Sunday I had all intentions of going to church until I got up and my foot was swollen and so sore that I thought I better stay off of it again, so I sat on my chair with my foot elevated and watch a little tv and relaxed.
Today Monday, I had a dentist appointment which I had to cancel because of this foot. I am going to call the dr. today and find out what else can be done. I hate being in pain like this. My hubby said there has to be something that will clear this up faster, but I think it just like everything else it just has to take time to clear out of the blood stream. I guess there is a reason for all of these, I might be learning patience, which I so neeed.
Well you have a great day and keeping on posting.

Friday night I was burnt out from the afterschool program I am working for. On most days we have 80 - 92 kids and 4 of us to care for them.
Leo and I went to dinner at the new Texas Ranchhouse that opened nearby. I had the best steak. It was so tender and the vegies were yummy.
We went to Home Depot to pickup a few things needed. Saturday was much of the same, running errands,  picking paint colors, and getting ready for fall planting. Oh and we were able to put the kitchen back together now that the floor tile has been laid! 10 days w/o a kitchen is enough for me.
Today the crew came early to sheetrock and do some plaster work. I am so hoping to have the house finished within the next 2-3 weeks.

I hope y'all have a fantastic week!

Morning everyone!

Our weekend was pretty uneventful, spent a lot of time online looking for homes in the Nashville area and had my mom running crazy calling and checking out houses - The good news is that I think we found the house we'll be renting last night, it's totally awesome and is is move-in condition!  I should know more later today and hopefully will have closed the deal by Wednesday - That will be a huge load off my mind -

Went to the Gym this morning before work to use the treadmill, still getting the soreness in my shins, but I'm determined to keep it up and my goal is every day this week, M-F - if I can get the weekend too, I will, but not going to beat myself up if I don't -

Got my new Bariatric Surgeon lined up in Nashville, of course I get to pay all of the "fees" all over again (upwards of 700 bucks) - but what can you do?  Need to have the aftercare, and this guy comes highly recommended.  Also lined up my new PCP, so I'm in good shape to have my records transferred and keep up with my healthcare after I move.

Have a slowish day here today, which hopefully will give me the time to get a bit of laundry done and get some chores done as well - I love working from home

Hope everyone has an awesome day!

I am wishing I am still in bed.  Still not recovered from the events from Thursday to Saturday.  Thursday night I went with my mom to a presentation at the holucaust on The Holocaust and the Teaching Profession. (my mom works for the NEA).  Got home about 10pm that night after working that day.  Friday I was suppose to have my diagnostic testing and that didn't happen because they were being idots about me not having my insurance card on me.  But they had all other information including policy number.

My girls had dance company practice Friday night and then Justice and I went up to my mom's work in DC for a watch party for the debate.  We got back to my mom's apartment at 11pm and went bed.  Got up early to get Justice to her Jazz class at 1030am.  Then that afternoon we went to UMW to see Obama and Biden speak.  The girls had Bday parties that day and I made them miss it.  They were not to happy about that, but I told them they will forget about the parties but they will never forget about this event.  We got there at 2pm and stood in line.  It was hot. I had a big bottle of Evain water.  Someone walked passed saying no water bottles or juices allowed in. GREAT!  So I drank it all before I entered the gate.  We got rained on and he didn't come out until 7pm, so I was not feeling to good with having my last drink at 3pm.  But I made it through and it was great!

Sunday, I just chilled. I had not energy to do anything.  Watch a movie and let the kids run around.

Today, back to the daily grind.  have my girls group tonight.
