A little update...
Hi everyone...Just wanted to bring you up to date on the arrival of my new knee, who shall be named,"Bobbie".
The other day I had the pleasure of attending "Joint Camp" to learn all there is to acquiring a new knee. There is so much to do be "Bobbie's" arrival. Getting the house ready, pre-op exercises to strengthen arm and leg muscles, and searching for help during the first couple weeks that "Bobbie" and myself are home.
Recently I had to have a pre-op physical...blood tests came back normal. This is the first for me in a long time. Normaly the Iron and Vitamin D are down.
Today, I picked up some movies to watch and a MP3 player to listen to while rehabing. I do need to get some Paul Newman flicks.
"Bobbie" and I are going to be partners for a good long time.
"Bobbie's arrival date is Monday, October 13th
Place is Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville
Time of arrival is 7:45am
Would love visitors post-op...hospital and at home. Recuperation is 8-12 weeks. PM me and I will give details.

Let me know how u are doing I have appointment there atMJHH to meet w/ the Bariatric lady sometime the begining of Oct I forget the date the first week of Oct, si Ill be in that area after class,so up date us.....
