Good am!

How are ya'll doing? Great I hope! How was your Thursday? Ours was cool, rainy, windy and jam packed. Working on some projects around the house so we got started yesterday am. Been in major cleaning mode as well as focusing more energy and time to addiction transfer research and talks. Enjoying this cooler weather for sure. Pulled out Fall/Winter clothes and got them situated. Got some chores in and my sister came by and I cut and colored her hair. Looks really pretty on her. Got the buggas in bed pretty early and headed there myself. Was asleep until an almost 10 pm call. It was sort of expected but jolted me out of sleep. Took a bit but I conked back out.

What's on the books for your Friday & weekend? Today is errands and chores and getting work out of the way for this pm. We're painting our bathroom and the buggas room. Been trying to get there for a few weeks but things have come up in between. Saturday is going to be more painting and chatting over cuppas and such regarding some upcoming plans that are hopefully going to be implemented in the very near future. Sat pm is going to see BKsD at the Pour House. Sunday is unknown right now. Hope every one has the BEST Friday & weekend they can!

Morning Beautiful!  I think I got so busy yesterday I forgot to post.  This week has been super busy.  Work of course has been crazy as I get caught up from missing Monday & Tuesday.  I think I managed to get it all done yesterday so now I can work on regular stuff.  Dinner on Wednesday with my mom was super cool, love seeing the nieces & nephews, brothers & sisters.  Last night was dinner with my family, the "sons" stopped by for some homework help and we just stayed in all night.  Not much going on today, tomorrow is a possible brunch date with my best friend and then off to my sisters for a candle party, Sunday is my niece's 2nd bday party.  Not sure what else is planned in between.  Hopefully some down time.

Sounds like you have been getting a lot done lately.  I am sure the feeling of accomplishment is fabulous!  I too pulled out my fall winter clothes and am loving it.  I have such cute fall/winter stuff and am enjoying wearing it.  Also been picking up a few things on clearance lately and loving it.  Well I must go get ready for work.  Have a great one!  Love you much!!

Happy 13 months sobriety!  You rock!!!!!!!!

Good morning, beautiful.

Thursday was jam packed for me, too, but I LOVED it!  Work was good but crazy busy.  I am hoping for a more low keyed day today.  I have a sheet of claims to process and am going to get started on that here in a bit.  Drinking my Achieve One as I write this.  I am also in major cleaning mode mentally but  my energy level is not where my mind is!  When I got home I was feeling like crap.  Nothing wanted to stay down yesterday...even water...so I was pushing what I could and praying something would stay down.  I did some laundry and got some prepregnancy and summer clothes ready to pack away and made some room for some fall/winter clothes.  I have about 6 outfits that I can wear now and am making appointments to meet some people for some more, hopefully tonight or tomorrow.  Don't ya just LOVE craigslist?  So I did some cleaning, too and then went to rest about 7 or so.  Went to vegge in the living room with dad and Steve and walked in to find my sofa covered with gun [parts and cleaning stuff.  Steve decided it was time to get ready for hunting season and clean all the guns.  There was no place to sit at all.  I went and got on the computer for a bit and then went to lay down in the bed.  I had been looking forward to some premiers and was ready for Survivor, Grey's Anatomy and ER.  Well, I fell asleep after the first hour of Survivor and forgot to set record for the others!  Oh well...I will watch them at some point, even if I have to wait to get it on DVD.

On the books for today is more cleaning and helping a friend at her house after work.  I have a bit more laundry to do (since it NEVER ENDS!)  and will be getting that done at some point.

Saturday during the day is meeting a few people about baby stuff and doing some painting and chatting.  Looking forward to a nice dinner with friends.  Then it is off to the Pour House to see BK'sD rock out.  Please say a few prayers for me since it will be my first time out since quitting smoking and I think it will be very hard for me.  I am now six days without a smoke.  I still want them, more out of habit than anything I think, but I am trying to be strong.

Sunday is a trip to southside for a friends son's third birthday party and then back home for more sorting/cleaning.  I am trying to remove everything from the room we want to be the baby's and get it all ready for painting and to start setting stuff up.  I know it is early yet but I am too excited to wait!

Love you much and can't wait till tomorrow night!

Hey Tammy! LOL! Nice about the gun stuff. Dad's getting stoked about it so it'll be him doing the same thing too. I'm excited to be getting together this weekend and going out. I need it. You're doing great with quitting smoking. I know its not easy but you can do this. Love ya'll.

Good Morning Kat & All,

The weather here in NoVA is dreary - rainy, windy, gray.  What happened to Indian Summer?? Did it happen and I missed it?  September is usually the nicest month.  This weather is more like early November.  I have a meeting at Church this morning and was planning to go to the National Book Fair in Dc this weekend but if the weather doesn't get any better, I probably will not.  It is all outside on the Mall Lawn in tents and walking in wet grass is no fun.  They are supposed to have some great authors speaking throughout the weekend.  Who knows, maybe one of these days we'll see a WLS author featured - Maybe Katie Jay or Jackie Thodos.  I think Jackie is almost finished with her book??  Anyway, if not the book fair, I'll probably stay home and relax.  Since the weather is colder, my natural instinct is to start making soup.

Have a fun time painting.  Big Hugs.

Good morning Kat my thursday was just lounging around with my foot proped up and enjoying the relaxation from eveyone and the every day stuff. I will be so happy when I can get this gout out of my foot so I can go and do things.

Today,  Friday is just about the same as yesterday, keeping my foot proped up again taking the meds. and praying for this foot. Saturday my 3 granddaughters have ball games and I would love to be abe to go and watch them play, but that will all depend if I can get my shoe on and I don't have a lot of painThen the girls will be at my house Saturday night where we are going to make foam decorations for the freege and send them to their aunts and other grandma. Sunday off to church and take the grandchildren out for lunch, and hopefully a walk in the park.
Have a great weekend.

Hi everyone!!!
   All was well today.
Met friends for conversation and coffee. Then to an appointment.
heard about labs from yesterdays pre-op...and all is in normal levels. This is great, as Vitamin D and Iron levels have increased in a month.
Came home to hang curtains and to clean. Spent time on the internet.
For Saturday, off to Staunton if the weather is fair. If not, working out at the gym will be good.
At Joint Camp, we were given exercises to do preop to build up arm muscles. Have lots to do get ready for surgery day!!! Prayers to all!
