Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Great I hope! How was your weekend? Ours was non-stop! Melinda's wedding was fantastic and I'm still processing that. There were great people, great convos, great eats and the weather was GREAT! Sunday was jam packed as well! Cut our yard and my neighbors yard, cleaned up/out our gazebo and cleaned up the house as well. Took some time to relax and get things burned to CD's and such as well as get some replies back to some great folks. Managed to get in bed at a pretty decent time.

What's on the books for your Monday? I've got a lot going on today. Going to get some work out of the way then I'm going to swipe a friend for an appointment which works out well since I need to get by my doc's office (one of them) for something. Then I've got some chores to do and hopefully done by the time Kayla gets home from school. Hope everyone has a SUPER Monday!

Morning Beautiful!  So glad to hear your weekend was wonderful!  Saw the pics from the wedding & it looked marvelous.  You were looking pretty durn cute in that sundress.

My weekend did not go as planned but alas thus is life with children.  Friday ended up being realatively quiet as both girlies headed off to friends to spend the night.  Saturday a.m. the doctor called to say Morgan's strep test came back positive (very frustrating as the quick test was negative) so I had to go pick her up from the friends, explain that we had accidently exposed their whole family and get her settled in with her antibiotic.  So my family has shared their sick germs.  I wasn't feeling great on Saturday either.  Managed to make it out to soccer but pretty much just chilled the rest of the day & did nothing.  Had to miss the bday party for my nephew as I did not want to expose everyone to our germs.  We did all get up yesterday and head to the zoo.  It was a fun outing and we enjoyed it.  After coming home we did laundry, homework, dinner, etc.  Ended up having one of the boys over to help him with Algebra.  Not sure I am feeling up to par yet but will have to keep an eye on it to see what happens.

Today is work and the evening is up in the air as we see what happens.  Hubby had a coworker pass over the weekend so we are waiting for details on that to make our condolences.  Perhaps will be hitting up the football game of one of the "sons".  Just not really sure (may also depend on how I feel).  Hope you have a great day!  Love you much!

Good morning Kit , I had a great weekend. My son Chris from York, Pa came down on Thursday evening and left last night. He is a golfer so he tried his clubs out on some of the golf courses here. He loved it. I was sad when he had to leave last night, but was thankful for the quality time we spent together.

As for today Monday, I am going to clean out the rv as we are planning on going to the skyline drive and Shannadoah Velley for a week. Well you have a great Monday and much lol being sent your way .

Good morning ladies. I had a pretty relaxing weekend. Yesterday Alex and I were headed off to the movies. Went to start the car and nothing! Panic! I can't afford a huge car bill right now. My dad came over and looked at it. He jumped it and it started. Yippy! Then we went to his house for dinner. Went to start the car to go to the movie again and dead. At least all it was is a battery which was only $50.00. Thats enough, but was so scared would cost more. So everything is good with that. Today I will head up to see Alex for lunch at school and then pick him up and try to go see that movie again. Lets hope the car holds out. lol. But just going to clean today. Feeling really nausesa today so I am going to take it easy. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Morning, beautiful! It sure was a pleasure to meet you on Saturday! Looking forward to spending more time with you very soon. That wedding was so sweet and beautiful, and the weather was fantastic. Sunday I pretty much ran around with the resident teenagers all day with mucis lessons, homework, church and such. I have to work on getting to bed earlier...seems like I am dragging a lot these days. Today I made a commitment to get back into the gym, so hubby and I are going after work since he rode with me and thus will force me to go.

Good morning, beautiful.  Things around here are pretty good.  I am at work and trying to catch up on things.  It is my first day back on the floor since training (that ended on Friday) and I am glad to be back.

Friday night was really busy.  Steve and I had a lot of errands to run so we got them out of the way then came home for a couple hours of sleep before work.

Saturday AM was pretty nice.  We had a nice breakfast together before coming home and getting ready for the wedding.  After I got dressed we told my dad about Frogger.  I certaintly did not get the reaction I was expecting.  He is very excited and only worried that since I had surgery I will have problems getting the nutrition in.  I explained to him that we would be fine and I would take extra precautions.  Then it was off to the wedding but with a quick stop by Target on the way.  I didn't realize that the only dress pants I have would be digging/cutting into my tummy so much already so I had to break down and buy a new outfit.  The wedding was absolutely beautiful and I loved seeing everyone and meeting new people.  We had great convos on the way up and the way home and I am really glad you were able to ride with us.  We went to bed about 9:15 and left about 12:30 for work.  We got home about 7 AM.

Sunday was a relaxing day for me.  I slept until 1 PM!  I NEVER do that!  I got up and Steve and I went and picked up returns.  After that we went to a consignment store and got me several maternity outfits.  I ended up with at least a different outfit for every day of the week and three pair of pajamas for $93.00.  I was really excited.  Thank God for second hand stores!  After that we picked up dinner at an Italian resturant near the store and went home to finish watching the race.  Then Steve was a sweetheart and cut the grass while I got all of the billing stuff together.  It was off to bed about 9:30ish.

I tossed and turned all night.  It was horrible!  I finally got up at 4 and took my shower.  Steve was late getting home so I got a late start this AM.  I got a lot done with the billing, but not what I usually get done.  I will fini**** tonight.  Other than that and doing the paperwork...we haveno specific plans.

Tomorrow is another day and it is jam packed for sure!

Love you much and thanks again for everything!

Well, I have never responded to one of Kat's daily emails, but I feel like I have something to contribute today.

Its my first day back at work post-surgery!!!  I am really excited to get back to my routine, although not so excited about having to include work in it!!!  I am a little sore today, had to sit in traffic for an hour this morning.  I am currently drinking my morning protein shake and then I think I am going to go for a short walk just to get away from my desk for a few minutes.  I am going to do my best to make it all day today.  So long as I can grab a nap when I get home.  Then I need to finish making my friend's wedding invitations.

I have been so blessed so far by this entire process.  I was terrified pre-op at how I would respond to the surgery, but so far I haven't had any problems or complications.  I do have to visit a liver specialist, but I am just taking all of it one day at a time.

Thanks for letting me share!!!!

Amanda,

I am sure you have something to contribute every day!  I am glad that you have finally posted.  I wanted to wish you luck on your first day back at work.  Don't overdo it.  I had two weeks of 1/2 days when I went back and was still exhausted!  Hope you have the best of days!

Hehehehehe, but the past two weeks its been got up, walked to the sofa, sat down and watched on demand.  Not real exciting!!!!  Its been a little more then that, but I am ready to be out of my house and getting back to life.  I warned my boss that half days might be in my future this week.  But I am hoping to be ok the first couple of days and maybe take advantage of half days later in the week.  Although that nice spot on my left side is a little sore today.  I sit entirely too much at work!!!
