stuck already
I had my surgery on July 15th, and I have already hit a stall. I haven't lost anything for over two weeks. Is this normal. I'm only two months post op. I haven't changed or cheated on my diet. I increased my protein shakes, and I increased my work out frequency and intensity. I hope that this helps. Has anyone else had this problem?
Hi Kelly,
Yes this is completely normal. Your body needs time to catch up. Take your measurements monthly and you will see a difference.
Sometimes just making a few changes in what we eat will help jump start into loosing again.
Mix it up. If you eat alot of chicken, change to a different protein like fish. You can always go back to the basics too. Soft foods like yogurts, cottage cheese etc. then go to the next food stage.
Good luck to you.

Definitely normal as your body takes a break to catch up. Check your measurements. A lot of times during a stall/break you will lose inches.
Mixing it up can help too. Make sure you are getting in enough water (if not extra) I found that when I wasn't getting enough water earlier out my loss was slower. Just keep to the rules & you will be fine.

Hi, Kelly: As the others have said, very, very normal. Their suggestions are exactly what I would have said...and I would include make sure you are getting in all of your protein because that can make a difference too. Getting your water in is so important...the times I have been lazy about it have been the times when my weight loss slowed early on. Measuring is key...our bodies really seem to make some serious changes during these stalls. Hang in there...it's a great ride! :)
Chin up! My response is going to mirror the others so I'll just make it short and say keep focused and change up exercise and you'll start to see a difference.

Deninately keep your chin up. This is completely normal. Your body is just "catching up". Are you taking measurements? You are most likely still losing inches! It will pick up again before you know it.
