The Cost of Vitamin D

If you are testing your vitamin D, then you probably know that we  malabsorb Vitamin D badly.  I am a distal & take 100,000 iu per day (Bio-Tech-Pharm) just to get in the normal range.  

If you haven't seen it, maybe you would be interested in signing the vitamin D petition - for injectable  vitamin D.  The benefit of injectable vitamin D is cost.  The injectable form is only pennies compared with the dollars for capsules.  

Now I can get the injectable myself, because I have a friend (in USA) who gets hers from overseas (France).  I just wish the USA would get it's act together about this.  I prefer not to have to get mine from overseas.  My friend has been using injectable for a year, & her vitamin D labs are mid range & stable.  There was an aussie who was posting about her use down under with injectable form.  She posted on an osteoporosis group that I'm on. 

I don't know who created this petition, but feel it's badly needed.  I need to cut my vit/min cost wherever possible.  So, if you're into it, please sign & maybe pass it along to the groups that you are associated with.
