Had my u/s sound yesterday, the preliminary results said "multiple gallstones" i have an appoinment with Halmi's office friday anyway, so they want to meet with me and set up a surgery date.  Personally the pain really sucks (in the back, how strange...).  though i'd keep you all posted.  Lys

Lys,

Sorry you have to go thru another surgery but glad that you have gotten an answer to your pain.  I will keep you in my prayers.  Makes me extra grateful that my surgeon just takes the gall bladder out if you still have it at the same time as RNY.  It seems like more and more paitents have to go back in and have removed within a year.  Hope all goes smoothly for you!

I had problems before surgery. I would have the worst back pain and sometimes felt like I was having a heart attack. They say that is common. Good luck on the surgery.

Sorry to hear about this, I had my gallbladder out 13 years ago and I still remember the pain, it was worse than having my children. I will be praying for you, so keep us posted.

Oh no!  I'm glad it's something that they can just remove and make your pain go away though.

Lys, the pain from a gallbladder attack is very uncomfortable.  You'll feel so much better once you have it removed.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Well at least it is something relatively simple.  My gall bladder removal was pretty uneventful and I felt so much better afterwards.  Hope you get a surgery date soon and are on your way to feeling great!
