Post Op visit with DR MO.
LOl I assume you meant pre-op not post op lol! You had me going there! The CPAP is really necessary if you have been identified as needed one. Tell Dr Mo of your issues because I think there is a couple of different kinds of masks you can have - but if you have been identified as needing one they won''t do surgery on you if you have not worn the mask for a certain period of time..........
Good luck your appointment!

LOL Yes pre op.. Thanks Jackie! I have been doing that all day...
Holding on to VSG surgery date 9/30........ I am going to a new sleep study company Sun night. I have been assured that I pick from a variety of masks. Sleep Dr does not pick the mask ... I do. I am going to get past my issues.
Dr Moazzez was great . He is aware of a situation on 7/30 .... that is affecting me dealing with the CPAP. My main issues is I have a hard time dealing with things on my face and neck....then to add to what happened on 7/30, I had OBGYN surgery ... Bad anestisist at Potomac Hospital .... Dr and I could not get anyone to discuss having throat issues after surgery... Chief A did not have the decency to return the Drs. calls or my request for advise. In short i had to have my throat examined by an ENT to make sure there was no injury. A lot of swelling but no apparent damage.
Dr Moazzez and the Fair Oaks Staff have been great addressing my fears about being intebated . The anestisist will be a bariatric specialist not a rotating person.....
You are all so great!. I never thought I would interact with others about my surgery or for that matter online. I have learned so much from all of you.
I hope that at one point I can return the favor Thanks Caroline..
