IT'S TOTALLY TUESDAY YA'LL!!!

Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Quite well I hope. :) How was your Monday? I gotta say it seemed like many were in terrible places mood wise yesterday. Everyone from grumpy kids to even grumpier adults, strangers who for what ever their reasons had no smiles and seriously seemed to have beef with everything and everyone. Heck even the cashier at the grocery store took 5 minutes to finally smile. (I don't give up!) Hopefully that's not carrying over to today. Whew doggies it was a chilly reception! I worked on my To Do List forgoing almost everything that wasn't on there. I feel a little more accomplished today looking at it. It was a long day and by the time I got into bed it was well after 10 pm.

Time to embrace a new day with new challenges, choices and chances!!! Today I've got a lot to get done and I'm looking forward to it. Going to be getting out and about some for nature time. I need to grab a couple things from the store and maybe find just a little bit of me time. But, my focus is job related, must-do tasks and deadlines to meet. So, the fun might have to wait for a bit. I/we are so blessed. A roof over our heads, clothes on our bodies, food, water, a vehicle, luxuries that are nice to have (computer, etc), great family, amazing connections and God first and foremost to supply it all. :)

Hope everyone has the BEST Tuesday they can!

Morning beautiful!  I think there is/was a full moon recently cause I notice quite a bit of grumpies yesterday too.  My day was pretty good for a Monday.  Got a bit accomplished at work, hit the gym, headed home for dinner then back out to Costco.  Made for a busy evening but got stuff accomplished.

Today is work, lunch with a friend, hubby will get the girlies & it will be family night.  Not much else planned.  Perhaps I will work on the laundry or hit the grocery store.  Well I hope you have a great one!!  Love you much!!!!

I'm certainly happy I did not encounter those grouchy people you did yesterday. In fact, I had just the opposite!
We finally got a check from Allstate for the water damage. I went to a tile showroom and picked out tiles for the bathroom and the kitchen floor. The installer came out to measure everything too. With all the demo that has been going on, an ant nest must have been stirred up so the exterminator came and took care of that problem!
All the furniture downstairs is moved out of the house into a POD. Meals have been well, unusual to say the least. We are having a true picnic in the living room...complete with the ants!
Yesterday AM, I took the kitty to the vet. She had a urinary tract infection but that is all cleared up now thanks to antibiotics.

My sister who lives in Shreveport LA called last night. The K9 search and rescue team that she does the training for found 2 little girls and their father. The father battered his little boy and ran off into the woods with the girls for 7 hours. This is the same team I was the 'victim' for a training exercise with a Bloodhound, Ginny, when I visited last month.

Today I'm taking me time. Getting my hair cut and colored so I'll be all polished for my new job with Virginia Beach parks and rec before and after school program. I start training on Thursday.
And finally my baby girl, Kristin, will be coming home for a visit the first weekend of October! Yay!!

Have a blessed day...and a smiling one!

Hey Jen!

Good for you! Send some smiles this way. :) You are making the best of a less than desirable situation. You'll get through this and glad things are coming together on the house repairs. Hope the kitty feels better. Prays for the family your sister helped to find. Such a sad and trying situation but glad they've been found. Enjoy your "YOU" time. Hope training is a success. Hugs......

Good morning beautiful.  Monday was ok.  Busy as usual and a little car trouble in the evening had Steve coming out to "rescue" me but we made it home by 7:30 and had a good dinner of left overs!  Work went well and training is going excellent.  Only four more days of it left!  Yep, I ran into the grouchiness, too all over the place and yep...there was a full moon recently!  I have had some awesome views of it over the weekend doing the papers.

On the books for today is as little as possible.  I have a lot on my mind and need to do some thinking/soul searching.  I am mentally exhausted.  I am finding it hard to get up in the mornings and get the day started.  I am always tired it seems the past few weeks.  Me thinks another trip to see the doctor is in order.  Steve is going this morning to see the pain management specialist so that we may hopefully avoid the surgery on his back so please keep him in your prayers.  He is there now (appt is at 8 am) and will be calling or texting when he is done.

This evening I need to cut the grass (the weather is nice and cool!) and get some laundry done as well.  I think I will be cooking a meatloaf for dinner (or two since Kara and Steve don't like onions!) and some good veggies.  I will be having salad!  Other than that...early to bed (I hope) and relaxing time for me if possible.

Have a great day!

Hey Tammy!

Hope everything is ok with your vehicle. Glad training is almost completed. LAST NIGHT was a full moon! I have pictures to prove it! Kayla very much wanted me to take some. I personally enjoyed it. :) Let me know about Steve. I'm sending up prayers for sure. As for you...we need to get together if you have time this pm. Its flippin' gorgeous outside. I've got all the windows open. Meatloaf sounds good for dinner. Haven't had that in ages. Love ya.
