Today is a new day.  Everything is much better meaning the pain, swelling, and discomfort.  I am taking it one day at a time.  I know tomorrow will be better than today.  I think keeping my eyes on tomorrow will make today better.  I actually slept in the bed with the pillows from the couch which worked out well.....I will continue to keep everyone posted.

Ronda,

Glad things are a bit better.  In the bed already?  I didn't make it there for over a week.  The recliner was my best friend!  One day at a time and it will all get better from here!

You're right. It does get better every day. I'm 4 1/2 months out and still getting better daily. Keep up the good work.

Hi Ronda,
So good hear that you are feeling better and you are taking one day a time. There is nothing like sleeping in your own bed to make you feel better. You are doing great.

Hi Ronda,

Sometimes I take it "an hour at a time, or even less....." when things get rough!    You are doing great.    I am glad you are home and getting some rest.    This surgery takes  A LOT of courage and hard work.   There is much to learn prior to the surgery (which you did) and now during the healing... (which you are..) and after.... (which will be a day by day, and at 3 plus years I am still learning things every day!!)

Please continue to come here and reach out to others.  Remember, we need you as much as you need us!    :)

hugs and friendship,
Jill
