Good Morning....

Well...it's gotta be quick.  Phones are alreay rining (and it's only 640 - UGH!).  Looks like an iffy day, today.

So...what are YOU doing to move today???

Me?  Well...I hope to hit the treadmill today, but work here will make that decision for me.  UGH!  I  hate working long hours.........

Until tomorrow....

Adding a couple more "rounds" to the regular routine - upping to 25 minutes today -

Sure will be glad when I can start strength training again too!

I took a longer, faster walk today. I needed the 'me' time and I am still in alot of pain from a cracked molar. Tylenol just isn't cutting the pain so I decided to kick in the endorphsins a bit higher. Having dental work and not being able to take Motrin or Aleve just sucks! All my dentist is willing to give me is prednisone... um...hello?

Jen..hope you are feeling better.  Sorry about the dental problems.  Just wanted to mention you might want to check with your surgeon.  I know for me tylenol is it and both motrin and aleve are big no-no's on his "do not take" list.

As for me, I ran 5 miles this morning and walked for 40 minutes on the tread mill at lunch.  I plan on doing the elipitical for at least 20 minutes when I get home but since Kara came home sick from school I do not know that I can have that much "me" time.  She comes first!

Hi Tam, Thanks for the advice. I never take motrin aleve and the like. Just Tylenol. that's why I couldn't believe the dentist wanted to give me prednisone.   Doctors and dentists still have so much to learn about surgical weight loss patients.

Hope Kara feel better!

Hey Jen, Thanks for Kara.  She is somewhat better now, but not great.  I am glad about the meds...wasn't sure if you knew or not.  We can take Prednisone in small doses.  I have had it twice post op, both times for poison ivy/oak.  I was just on one "blister pack" and I did ok.  I only gained 2 pounds each time then lost 10!
