Its a day by day kinda thing. Sorry to hear your daughter is sick too. My day was horrible again. I went to Walmart  got the flowers for the graves. Got sick in the store. Then went to the grave yard and got sick there too. Ugh! I see Dr. Hutcher on Thursday and then going to the support group. I am not sure what I should ask him? Any suggestions. I don't know if there is much he can do.

Hey Brooke.  Sorry you are still feeling blah.  I know it can be rough.  The only thing I can think of is to ask you if you were sick with morning sickness a lot when you were pregnant?  Also, have they tried you on Zofran, specifically the kind that disolves under your tounge?  I was horribly sick all day, every day for four months when I was pregnant with Kara.  No one told me that post ops that had this "condition" were more prone to getting sick often after surgery.  Also, I had/have a horrible sinus drainage.  I get sick regurlarly from that.  I take the Zofran frequently and that helps quite a bit and I use sinus rinses that someone on here told me about and have had great results.  Do you think you may have an allergy to something?  Maybe the protein powders you are using?  Just a thought.  I know it has happened to several people post op over the years.  Good luck.  You are in my daily prayers and I hope this all gets worked out soon.  Let me know if you need anything!

I was the same way when I was pregnant. The entire time. Dr. Hutcher told me he was worried this would happen. They have me on low sugar boost through the feeding tube. The tube goes in the old stomach. I feel like a failure and feel like I am going to see the principal. I know its really not that way, but still feeling it. I did have zofran. It actually made me more sick from the taste. I think Jeanine is stumped on what to do next. I know God will not give me more than I can take. Thanks for all the prayers!

Brooke,

Don't feel like a failure...you have not done anything that I know of to have this happen.  Sometimes we just are tested.  Jeanine is great and I know she will find out what to do...it may just be trial and error.  I will keep praying for you and please let me know if you need anything that I can help with.

Good Evening, everyone!!
Tuesday was a great day!!! Worked an early, stopping at  myfavorite spot for coffee. Off to work, taking two of the consumers to the doctors. Sometimes I can't say  no, and offered to pack two of the folks who are going to the beach. My supervisor, who is taking them was like oh, ok. Now, I wish I hadn't volunteered. Sometimes I need to listen to my head and not my heart. Next week I will be taking on of the ladies on an overnight trip to Staunton. When I overextend myself, then I become stressed.
Good news...reaching out for help when I have surgery. The church I attend, has a ministry that offers rides to the doctors' etc. I called the head of the ministry, and now I have help getting to the hospital.
Thank you to all that help others and keep in touch with those who ara MIA.
   Peace to all...Cindy
